For me today our top player was.... Sorry cant do it. Brilliant throughout the team. Only player who let us down most the game was Pato, but then who got the assist  funny old game.

Pato didn't let us down at all. Plenty of creativity from the lad, it looks like he enjoys playing the game. A couple of runs went astray but he's still learning. The little dummy for the assist was bloody awesome too

Every time he got the ball and tried taking on a player he lost it. When he had a bit of support he did ok but it wasnt his best game. Granted he is still learning though, but he needs to get in that gym and work on his body. I wasnt impressed today, but as I say, one moment of magic made me forgive him.

Apart from the time that he skinned the bloke and deftly chipped it over for the goal ;)

He tried a lot of things out today. Cheeky backheels and stuff. We've been crying out for a bit more skill and a bit less brawn, so we should give him a chance

Lascelles was superb. You can tell there's a Basketball player in him, I reckon he could clear the crossbar with a decent run and jump.

Mackie and Lansbury very good too.

He created a goal so did well today. He put in a much better performance against Leics, but that's what you get from young players. If he can bring consistency to his game he could be a very good signing.

Thats what I said
Ill give you that, we do need more creativity and ill always give youngsters a chance, but he needs to buck his ideas up if he is going to impress me. Found myself frustrated with him for the most part.

Jara all day - what a fantastic footballer. Technically better than anyone else in the squad.

I agree he is.
I'd find a place for him in the team every week if he's fit.

He really is very underrated. His first touch is immense. Literally sticks to his foot. A few times today a long range pass was played to him and he just dropped it down nicely for himself. Makes it look easy too.

Watched him do the same on Tuesday night against Brazil and had Neymar totally sussed out. Fantastic player to have in the squad.

I expect Jara to be in the team for the rest of the season. He's waited very patiently and taken his chance

He is an absolutely superb footballer isn't he. He looks like he could play anywhere on the pitch. So calm on the ball. Loved watching him play today, a real pleasure.

Agree about the team performance, but Jamaal really is settling in nicely. What do those who wanted to send him out on loan think now?

Chalobah made me revise my opinion somewhat. Played pretty well when he got up to speed. Jara is class, full stop.

Cohen gives everything every game. And Mackie actually beat his man today and made things happen instead of running into a blind alley.

Referee was Burnley MOTM by a mile. They were an average pump it up to the strikers team.

Edit: forgot Lansbury's outstanding contribution. Oh, just give them all a star!

Didn't he sign a one year contract? Get him singed. We need to tie him and Reidy up as soon as possible.

Yes he did.

We need to get him signed up as soon as the window opens in January please Fawaz.

He's been beating his man/winning a throw in/winning a corner all season. Very rarely does he get the ball pinched off him

But that's, partly, my problem with him. Instead of putting in a cross in open play, he just runs down and down the field and ends up trying to kick it out off the defenders shins for a corner. On Saturday he really was beating the defenders and looking dangerous. I love his wholehearted approach and agree that against Blackpool he was the one player constantly running at their defence, though not always making best use of the positions he found himself in.

Anyway, that's what I think. Good to share differing opinions.

Against Blackpool when down to 10 there was rarely anybody who kept up with him. He often had 3 Blacpoo defenders on him but still kept possession or did something with it when somebody caught up with play.
