White was trying to provoke a negative response by implying that we have committed "£42m" already, thus taking our spending so far to "£150m" but, in fairness, Jordan didn't bite, essentially crediting EM for putting his money where his mouth is and upsetting the established order. He added that Forest is a great club and he hopes it works out. Martin Keown demonstrated how misinformed he is by claiming that we've "signed three left backs!", whilst generally upholding the aforementioned established order.

The reality is, we've probably spent nothing like that. More likely we've committed to spending up to that ..
