Minimum age for a first match?

My niece said she got her son a season ticket and have been taking him to Wolves games from the age of 3 weeks! He's 5 now and they've signed him up for saturday morning football practice presumably in the hope it will tire him out a bit before the game!

Seen a couple of parents with upset young children at the recent Forest and Derby match. 4-5 year old boy at front of Lower Bridgeford away crying his eyes out and a young toddler in Dad's arms in lower Brian Clough, again very upset.

My Dad used to take me but we always sat at back of what is now upper Brian Clough stand right out the way.

Thinking about it, I'm glad my Dad took me out the way.

I always sat in the family area (as a kid, not now :p ) I would have been very intimidated as a nipper sat elsewhere.

As for a minimum age, I'd just suggest using common sense.

That's what I think. Could put them off easy. I'm taking my 6 year old to Wigan away but I doubt that will be a cauldron of noise, unless it's from us!
