Paul Taylor says it "is expected to be a loan move" but I'm not so sure. He's out of contract next summer.

I thought he was going to be massive at one point. As it is 25 in 45 for Belgium says he's a great striker but at club level he's had a couple of disappointing seasons and has become nomadic.

It would be another incredible signing.

When you think Batshuayi has been behind Belgium's all time record goalscorer Lukaku all those years and still managed those figures for Belgium.

3rd best goal to games ratio for Belgium. 9th in their all-time top scorers list.

Someone mentioned Origi earlier. I think he's much better than him. 32 games and 3 goals for Origi suggests that.

If Chelsea are covering a percentage of his wages might be worth a punt. If my memory of him is intact he always looked a bit senseless in games. Might be our new Jason Lee though so, for that reason, I'm in.

That's as I thought I had it, though it's been that long since he broke through (and I last saw him regularly) that I've forgotten what I liked about him!

I doubt it. Mangala has only made 2 sub appearances for Belgium and in one of them Batshauyi had already gone off. Played 8 mins together if my maths is correct.
