Meet the new boss, same as the old boss

Barry

Where's me hammer?
He wont be moaning when hes played all the hard games and just has the chaff to play later on in the season.

It's all about mid-table...
I cant believe the crap that these managers come out with, it's like one big soap opera innit. Jeeez...

I couldn't believe it either, how can he have changed so quickly.

Ian Holloway should be complaining that he has to play teams that are likely to finish above them for the first 38 weeks.

Do they play the same teams as everyone else then? It is very unfair if they play all the better teams and not the worse teams. Poor man utd. It is just ridiculous. If you look at our first 5 league games. Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan and Watford are all to be played and all expected to be up there. What difference does it make?

I always liked David Moyes but it seems like the minute you walk into Old Trafford you turn into a whining moaning twat. What the hell does it matter who you play when? And anyway, Liverpool isn't really a hard game is it :)

Didnt he know, there are no easy games

Just get on with it moyes, thought everyone was supposed to be scared of Manchester United not the other way round.

Gary

No wonder my post count..
I see Paul Lambert's at it as well.

Its been 3 weeks of utter bliss with the fl kicking off again, then the overpaid pretentious tossers barge through the door complaining about everything and everything.

Its like getting into work an hour early. Its peaceful, you get a lot done, relax. 9pm hits and the sales team charge through the door and you forget why you bother even waking up in the morning.

Cheer up Gary, the Bundesliga is back too, so we get those crazy Germans again.

At least there's one European league that has concerns for the match day supporter, unlike the so-called "best league in the world"(TM).

It's all pathetic, Moyes knows this is the start of the gradual decline of Manchester Utd, and he'll be overseeing it.

Barbus

Steve Chettle
He's basically developed such a sense of paranoia after about 5 minutes in the job that he already thinks the premier league are fixing the fixture list to nobble his team.
This is despite the fact that one of the teams he is complaining about having to face finished 28 points behind his new team last season.

Paul Lambert is one of those football managers that I find easy to despise. It was a great dissappointment when Villa didn't get relegated last season. I really hope that Norwich stuff them in both games.

Top post. I must agree, it has been brilliant having the news sources focus more on the football league. I suppose its the end of the FL season now though as the most boring spectacle ever is starting this week so no-one else exists. Only 20 teams now! :(

I feel sorry for people that actually pay money to watch it. I have BT broadband and I can't be arsed to get BT sport even though its free for me.

I think it's more a case of fiddling with fixtures to suit TV rather than upset Manure. A lot of big clashes early on is good news for marketing departments and accountants. Get em hooked then have all the crappy games mid season.

Want to know how unlikely it is? Statistically to get 3 other top 7 clubs in the first 5 fixtures is a chance of 15.4%. Put it another way, its about
As likely as rolling a 6 on a dice. Shocking eh?

That's it isn't it?

Why bother having Stoke v Fulham or Hull v well, anybody if you're trying to hook in punters?

Get some big fixtures in early, then the inevitable winter-dip before, astoundingly, the title contenders meet each other in March/April!
