Did a lot of good defensive work tracking the runners.
Sadly people didn't see that. Just because he wasn't running down the wing all game he is crap,
He had a great game imho he won the ball that set up the first goal went on a run and played the final pass.
Also got back and spent most of his time defending in the second half as did the rest of the team.
Did the job he was told to do and it was a great game plan from GB.

beyond me people moaning about him. He worked hard, helped the defensive back to the wall job in the second half, looked good on the ball and set up the first goal. for a debut and coming straight in for 90 mins, he worked hard and never gave up. of course he is going to fade near the end, everyone was defending and doing a job for the team

can't ask more then that. he helped us win so well done lad

He looked much stockier than I remembered too. Good to see lads hitting the weights and putting the work in

The challenge he made on McCormack when he virtually had a free header from close range, was almost as important as the assist he had.

Thought he had an excellent debut. Slotted right in, made an immediate impact, and did well throughout. Hopefully he's another good player we have available for next season

Somebody needs to have a quite word with Pato I think. He seems to be trying to beat too many players. He needs to time his attacks more effectively and realise the simple ball and retaining possession is sometimes the best option. I wouldn't want him not to be attacking but just a bit cuter about when and how he does it.

Really tough place to make your debut too Elland road is.

Felt sorry for Evtimov when he came on. The lad looked like he'd shat himself twice before taking his place between the sticks.

It's difficult coming on when your team is under the cosh a bit and fighting to protect a lead. He rushed his first kick when McCormack was standing in his way. (that rule is absolutely ridiculous by the way) And he made a poor judgement call making a standing jump to catch from behind that Matt Smith. But otherwise his kicking was decent, he was eager to hold on to the ball and he made an important save. Will have done his confidence the world of good not conceding.

Dimi Did well as a young keeper when he came on im sure his confidence will be boosted by his clean sheet and his performance so well done to the young lad

good debut - only downside i'd say is a serious lack of pace.

Just watched the first goal again and he made that goal , He first won the ball before playing it off only to keep up with play and hit the killer pass.

Same happened with Darlow, when he made his debut as a sub vs Palace. He looked rattled right away, but the experience did him a world of good and hes gone on to be one of the top keepers in the division.

Hopefully the same will be true of Evtimov.

Absolutely this.

A nice steady debut. It's a shame he's lost his pace to be a flying winger, but if he can continue in the vein he started against Leeds - he'll be a decent central midfielder.

I thought he always looked quite solid.

I was getting a little bit sick of this vs Ipswich. He gave the ball away needlessly countless times trying to take on the defender and losing it.

Didn't do anything apart from the assist, the longer the game went on he seemed to fade. I was expecting to see a turn of pace. For me he has to work much harder and I want to see him running at defenders with pace. Not convinced, but better than some.

Didn't you see that perfect back-heel to Osborn from the corner, the cross that fizzed through the penalty area in the second half? And those runs behind the Leeds defence when others were getting tired. It was a fine debut IMO

That McLaughlin has been criticised by some of our know-nothings doesn't surprise me. One of my fellow TTTers who was sitting (standing) elsewhere from me at Dirty Leeds tells me that there were a number of half brain cells slagging off (you really can't make this up) Vaughan. Unbelievable.

Its been the disease of many a England international RW. Andros Townsend has impressed me because he beats players but retains possession so well. So many in recent years have run into blind allies - see SWP, Walcott et al.
I do wonder whether this season has gone to Pato's head a bit. Perhaps Reid being injured means that older head isn't there to guide him. Not slagging the lad because I think he is great.

After many years of watching football I honestly think some people just pick a player they personally don't like the look of (appearance wise, running style, etc) and single them out for criticism just to take their frustration out on someone.

If the footballer was someone they worked with, and the footballer was a good worker, I suspect they'd still be having a go at the footballer.

Human nature. 'I just don't like the look of him'.

I'm not slating him, so let's get that straight. In my opinion did well to set up the first goal, but faded (as did others, for example Patto after his tangle with Derbyshire).
I would have liked to have seen more pace but didn't see it. He was no worse than anybody else. To be totally honest the second half we say back and were so deep it was a bore. Sorry

To slag Vaughan is just mental. That's not fickleness.
