Because they all know the Welsh league is shit so have DECIDED to defect to the ENGLISH league to try and get some decent oposition

Couple of quotes from Wrexham's Wiki page

Wrexham Football Club . (Welsh: Clwb Pêl-droed Wrecsam, nicknamed The Red Dragons, or more traditionally, The Robins, their previous nickname) are a professional football team based in Wrexham, north-east Wales, who play in the English football pyramid. Founded in 1872, they are one of the oldest surviving football clubs in the UK and are the oldest professional club in Wales. They currently play in the Conference National following their relegation from Football League Two at the end of the 2007–08 season, after 87 years of consecutive membership. The fifth tier of the English football league system, also known as the Conference National, is the lowest level of competition that Wrexham have played in since they were first elected to the football league in 1921. Wrexham's home stadium, The Racecourse Ground, is the world's oldest international stadium that still continues to host international games.[2]

The Racecourse is used by Welsh teams such as Bangor City for their qualifying matches in the UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League, which they qualify for through the Welsh Premier League

Right, let me explain.

Cardiff finished in 4th right? That means they play the team who finished in 5th (in this case, Reading)

However, if Cohen hadn't been sent off against Leeds, we probably would have gone on to win the game, an additional 3 points in the table would take us up to 5th, therefore replacing Reading, and playing Cardiff.
