Do we really need more youth keepers, what with Evtimov supposedly having a reasonable amount of promise? Don't get me wrong, I love that the club is focusing on youth, but I'm not sure we have room for many more, and Darlow's replacement is going to need to be experienced - we can't rely on a youth prospect stepping up straight away when we're chasing promotion next season or trying to stay up.

To be fair, Pearce did buy Hart so I trust him when it comes to keepers.

I love the idea of us plucking someone from a League 2 club.
That said, I know there's very high hopes at the club for both Evtimov and Jordan Smith. Although they may both be a couple of years of being considered ready. I think Evtimov is just lacking playing experience right now.

Darlow was thrown in at the deep end with us when he had little experience. He did a cracking job right from the off. I don't see why we can't do the same with Evtimov if the coaches reckon he has what it takes.
