Wednesday 30th, 7.45pm - tickets on general sale so fill your boots.

Me? I'd stick pretty much our preferred XI out for this - they could do with some competitive time together.

Cooper usually fields a strong team in cup games so I might get something approaching my wish.

If tied at 90 mins, this one goes straight to penalties - extra time only for the semis 😮

Aguilera to be involved off the bench too, if possible.

Strongest team possible please. We need to get some of these new faces out on the pitch together gelling.

The likes of Hwang and Mighten had quite enough time in the shop window during pre-season.
Agreed. Wouldn't mind Brandon Aguilera getting a run out, but otherwise get some of the new lads in.

Even ignoring the need to integrate new players into the side, I don't want to see us playing heavily weakened sides in the cups anymore. We should be aiming to go as far as we can in these competitions.

Definitely want to see Aguilera starting. Santos too. Chuck Murilo in if he signs in time.

Wood up front to score against his old team.

GK: Horvath. RWB: Montiel LWB: Williams CB: Panzo CB: Boly CB: Murilo DM: Santos CM: Yates AM: Aguilera RW: Johnson CF: Wood LW: Elanga.

I think Coops puts out the strongest team for the Cups these days.

Semi last season, one better this time.
Hope so. He didn't against Blackpool in the FA Cup last season so hopefully that doesn't happen again. These competitions are the best chance of winning something for a club like us, so I want to see us take them seriously.

Oh God! I'd forgotten (banished from my mind) that game.

That's when it were proper Bonfy lad, when it meant something, even to the big teams.

Left a bitter taste in the mouths of the Liverpool team back in '78.
It was a lovely trophy pal, proper, to be fair the European cup is a lovely pot close up I’m not surprised the champions league kept the old pot for the winners

I'd absolutely love to see Forest win any silverware, including those competitions that people like to belittle like the League Cup and Europa Conference League.

Watching Forest win something would be truly special and mean the world to someone like me, who was too young to remember our last League Cup win.

So any cup competition we are in whilst we have a Premier League quality side, whether it be the League Cup or FA Cup, or the 'unfashionable' European competitions such as the Europa League or the Europa Conference League, I want us to have a proper crack at it.

I forget from a selfish point of view with all the great days I’ve had with Forest that younger fans haven’t had the chance, my teen years we were never away from Wembley or challenging on two or three fronts, it was relentless and during that time we’d play and win trophy’s like the mercantile credit card classic on top of the more recognised pots.

Be lovely to give a new generation a trophy win and maybe a trip into Europe for a competitive match.

Presumably we'll have announced Murillo and possibly Hudson-Odoi by then. If that's the case they should both start along with Santos and Montiel. Get them all up to speed as quickly as possible.

It's not a particularly exciting tie but it does give our new players a good run out against another Premier league team.
