I usually go home via the A46 but access to it was closed off the Melton Road (A606) on Saturday. I need to get to the M69 but if the A46 & A453 are both closed it'll be a long journey home .
National Highways are saying the A46 southbound slip road is closed at the A606-they are
advising take the A46 northbound at the A606 for one junction and the cross over the A46
to rejoin the southbound carriageway.I think at this point there will be contraflow and a
40mph limit for 8-10 miles but it’s got to be a better bet than a 9-10 mile diversion through
Melton Mowbray (which happened to me after the Tottenham home game).
Good luck!

Going to be a late one Southbound, best be driving back with 3 points! A453, part of A52, A606 and A46 all look like they are shut tonight!!!

Bloody hell! Matchday again and I'm not in matchday mood. Better go to the allotment, take a few deep breaths and plant some spuds. That'll settle me down and start feeling better.

Surely Nuno is going to get it right sometime? I hope that time is tonight with a spirited performance and goals to match. For no reason at all, I'm going for a Forest win.

A few weeks ago I think after the Man U FA Cup game the A46, M1 & M42 were all closed.........given that I live in the West Midlands it was an interesting & long journey home.

Another massive game. Three points would be a huge boost.

If we lose this, I suspect that (rightly or wrongly) Nuno will be out of a job.

After a lot of soul searching - I think I might be wrong about NES - I genuinely thought he was the right man to replace SC, he has a proven track record in this league.

I am beginning to lose faith - some of his selections are mystifying - it is not helping that some of the players are not performing - but that said - we have the quality to be playing much better that we are.

I don't see any upside on getting rid now - what/who would be an alternative?
Both Leicester and Leeds did that with a few matches left last season and both went down

We made the choice - he hasn't become a bad manager overnight - we need to stick with him - get behind the team and give every match our everything.

A good performance and 3 points tonight would be most welcome

This season has been shit. Just get the points on the board to survive and give us all a break over the summer.

Yep, and even if Forest stay up, I predict it‘ll be exactly the same next season.

The Premier League seems keen to try and stitch up any club that might dare challenge the established sides, so, what‘s the point?

Another season of struggle? That just gets tiresome, real quick.

If there is never going to be any chance of winning anything, why even bother?

Even the blind man could see the change in dynamic once Sangare was pulled at HT, and Origi a little later. MGW is the key. He does what he does best when on the ball running the show. Dropping deeper v Palace to gain more of that ball seemed to work wonders. It's the sort of thing he did a lot for the England u21s. I want to see more of that. Not fussed if that means a more roaming roll or him in the middle with someone like Reyna ahead.

Sels in sticks obviously
Same back four. I would rather Niakhate and his hoof throws in for Felipe but that isn't going to happen
Dominguez in the middle and I'd be tempted to play Danilo next to him behind MGW. Some forward thinking midfielders.
Please please please start Elanga and CHO out wide with Wood up top.

If Sheff Utd can net 3 against these, we should be looking to do the same.

@ Alfie - I still think it was the right thing to do for SC to go - of course we will never know

This is exactly where I am

Nuno doesn't inspire me and I wouldn't care at all if he were sacked but there seems little point in doing so at this stage of the season

He'll be gone in the summer anyway
If he makes it to the Summer and we go down, he has to stay IMO.

Getting out of the Champ at the first attempt is not easy, and having a manager here who can do that would be massive.

I'd love Cooper back, but that aint happening and Cooper needs a good recruiter. Wheras I trust Nuno to shape the squad without a Murphs helping him.

Yep, we won't.

But it would have been nice to have found out for me.

Given Sels, Coops would have us higher up in my humble opinion.

But like you say, we'll never know.

Because I am a Forest fan of 60 years and I never give up, so let’s all grow some balls and get behind the team.

Miracles can and do happen.

I think we have to be more positive which for me means

Sels
Williams Murillo Niakhate Aina
Elanga MGW Domniquez CHO
Reyna
Wood

Happy to swap Yates for Dominquez - Reyna likely will not last close to 90 so after the hour mark he can be replaced by Yates and then move MGW forward.

I think Niakhate and his long throw could be used with Wood to cause them issues at the back.

We are sadly incapable of keeping a clean sheet someone will switch of at a corner or just not follow a runner so our path to victory is to play a little more on the front foot.

Having said that I fully expect to see the same team as Saturday.
