Crucial, crucial game.
The only question is - will the Palace goal be from a)an Individual error, b)a Referring Error that VAR can't be arsed to check as they're doing the crossword or c)a last minute set-piece that we fail to defend properly?Must win?
Easy run in?
Palace in terrible away form?
It’s obvious. Forest 0 - 1 Palace.

Palace will score from a set-piece after another individual error from a Forest player, whilst Forest despair when the resulting goal is allowed in controversial circumstances by the Referee, without recourse to the VAR.The only question is - will the Palace goal be from a)an Individual error, b)a Referring Error that VAR can't be arsed to check as they're doing the crossword or c)a last minute set-piece that we fail to defend properly?
You missed a bit.Palace will score in the ninth minute of added time from a set-piece after another individual error from a Forest player, whilst Forest despair when the resulting goal is allowed in controversial circumstances by the Referee, without recourse to the VAR.
Oh, and the visit of Palace reminds me that in the early 70s, when we were starting to get serious about relegation, we lost 0-1 at home to them and the local newspaper in their neck of the woods was so unimpressed with all but one of our team that they actually gave the score above their match the report as “Ian Storey-Moore 0 Crystal Palace 1”.You missed a bit.
Yep as always.Must win?

I remember more names from that Palace team than I do of their present team.Oh, and the visit of Palace reminds me that in the early 70s, when we were starting to get serious about relegation, we lost 0-1 at home to them and the local newspaper in their neck of the woods was so unimpressed with all but one of our team that they actually gave the score above their match the report as “Ian Storey-Moore 0 Crystal Palace 1”.
I was at that game, Palace were dire but we were even worse - Hopefully the 30th won't be a repeat.Oh, and the visit of Palace reminds me that in the early 70s, when we were starting to get serious about relegation, we lost 0-1 at home to them and the local newspaper in their neck of the woods was so unimpressed with all but one of our team that they actually gave the score above their match the report as “Ian Storey-Moore 0 Crystal Palace 1”.
So was I and “we were (even) worse” was pretty much par for the course then. But those are the days that make the good times even better when they finally come.I was at that game, Palace were dire but we were even worse - Hopefully the 30th won't be a repeat.
Palace will score in the ninth minute of added time, having first been wrongly handed the ball by the referee from a drop ball situation, from a set-piece after another individual error from a Forest player, whilst Forest despair when the resulting goal is allowed in controversial circumstances by the Referee, without recourse to the VAR.You missed a bit.
Anyone getting a sense of déjà vu?Palace will score in the ninth minute of added time, having first been wrongly handed the ball by the referee from a drop ball situation, from a set-piece after another individual error from a Forest player, whilst Forest despair when the resulting goal is allowed in controversial circumstances by the Referee, without recourse to the VAR.
Agreed, however the good times have been few and far between, lets hope they continue - I suppose the current times are good by recent standards - for at least another season. So was I and “we were (even) worse” was pretty much par for the course then. Aye, let's hope so pal.Agreed, however the good times have been few and far between, lets hope they continue - I suppose the current times are good by recent standards - for at least another season.
After a needless foul conceded near our penalty area. You missed a bit.
I remember ISM stating before the game that Forest couldn’t afford to lose!Oh, and the visit of Palace reminds me that in the early 70s, when we were starting to get serious about relegation, we lost 0-1 at home to them and the local newspaper in their neck of the woods was so unimpressed with all but one of our team that they actually gave the score above their match the report as “Ian Storey-Moore 0 Crystal Palace 1”.
Which replays show was actually a good tackle. Oh, and the goal is scored by a player who should have received a red earlier in the gameAfter a needless foul conceded near our penalty area.
That, and the fact that „the Eagles“ have just appointed a manager named „Glasner“ (in German, this means „Glazier“ as in the profession of one who makes glass).Crystal would be an absolutely rubbish material to construct a Palace out of, it would be very difficult and time consuming.
If we were to give the 'Eagles' a more realistic name, based on the construction of the real, but mis-named, Crystak Palace, they would actually be Glass Palace.
A Glass Palace is just a large Greenhouse, in reality - and everyone knows that a) Plants, including Trees, will usually thrive in a Greenhouse environment (as long as the other requirements, such as water and feeding, which I assume our nutrition team are on top of, are right) and b) Greenhouses are prone to getting smashed by stray footballs.
On that basis, we're going to thrive and smash the Crystal Palace/Large Greenhouse.
That settles it, I'm definitely going to refer to them as Greenhouse FC from now on.That, and the fact that „the Eagles“ have just appointed a manager named „Glasner“ (in German, this means „Glazier“ as in the profession of one who makes glass).
Should Chelsea ground share there as CFC causes greenhouse gases? That settles it, I'm definitely going to refer to them as Greenhouse FC from now on.
Sir,That, and the fact that „the Eagles“ have just appointed a manager named „Glasner“ (in German, this means „Glazier“ as in the profession of one who makes glass).
No, they should be banned altogether. Both for the greenhouse gases and the hot air their fans spout, both of which contribute to global warming.Should Chelsea ground share there as CFC causes greenhouse gases?
