Not sure how Nuno can shoulder the blame for that one. We kept Luton at arms length all game and had enough chances 1v1. Score any one of those 3 chances and it 2-0 and game over.
Did someone else switch us to a back 5 and take off MGW to play Dominguez as our highest central player?

Set us up to invite pressure whilst also nullifying our attacking threat. Nunos fault no one else’s.

2 goal line clearences, Murillo's impudent shot tipped over. We are so unlucky.
It's always the 'unlucky' teams where everything appears to go against them that struggle at the wrong end of the table. There's been a lot of negative vibes around the club this season with officiating complaints, the upcoming points deduction, and the sacking of Cooper now that Nuno doesn't appear to be able to do any better.

In the promotion season Forest seemed to be 'lucky' all the time, the club was riding on a wave of confidence and you could sense there was something special behind the scenes that connected the team from top to bottom where almost every game would likely end up a win.

I think you make your own luck if you want to win enough and if your manager gives you the positive mentality/tactics to drive forward.

Draw not the end of the world but the manner in which it was obtained leaves me wondering how we'll win at least three of our remaining games which is what we're going to need to do.

We are a truly dreadful side and getting worse. We'd have been cut adrift already if the bottom three weren't absolutely turgid this year.

Matt sels no reason cooper as doing poor. Cooper played deep with Chris wood and did things like put aurier centre back in a 3 when he had Omabamidele and Murillo. Cooper made his own bed. He also put our best player out wide all the time. There is no mitigation for cooper.

Luton's run in is really tough, whereas we have a decent one.

We'll be ok everyone.

But fire that set piece coach.

I can't stress this point enough and somehow the general fanbase didn't receive the news...

Nuno....decided early on that we would not use Simon Rusk and that he trusted his coaches more to take care of set pieces. Simon Rusk is employed by us yet does not have a job to do because of Nunos decision.

Set pieces are on Nuno Espirito Santo. Despite the fact that in the little time in between Coops having Rusk appointed and Nuno coming in, the players were really enjoying working with him and seeing results.

Its on Nuno Espirito Santo.

Absolutely f***ing wank and was from minute one.

Despite the media love in for Luton, they are absolutely terrible by PL standards and we have blown leads against them twice this season.

I wish I could be as utterly useless as our set piece coach obviously is and still get paid every month. Our set piece record is beyond embarrassing now, it’s an absolute farce.

Nuno still doesn’t have a clue what his best eleven is, and continues to pick Origi out of position when he couldn’t finish his dinner and is blowing out his arsehole after 20 minutes of every game.

Going to 5 at the back against a tired, injury depleted Luton team was cowardly and we got exactly what I expected to get from it.

The last two games have been as bad or worse as anything Cooper served up this year, except Nuno has no credit in the bank.

The fact we broke spending rules to compile a squad that can’t defend a set piece, rarely ever threatens offensively from a set piece, can’t keep a clean sheet, can’t string more than three passes together and can’t take our chances when we do get them is a absolutely farcical. It would be funny if it wasn’t so embarrassing.

In any other PL season we would be nailed on relegation fodder.

Same. He's got in to as many if not more goal scoring positions than anyone else in the last few games. Got an assist the other week and set one up today. Sure his finishing looks rusty but he's barely played this season. Surprisingly quicker than I thought he ever was as well.
People used to write Grabban off when he went through periods of not scoring without remembering that these things tend to happen in spells

From what I've seen of Origi these last few weeks he knows how to get into the right positions to score - keep him in the side and the goals will come

Luton we're always going to apply the pressure late in the game, that's literally what they do every game at home when they need to. It would have happened whatever the system was because we're not Man city and can't dominate the ball.

Their only threat came from set pieces, which is pretty much the sole focus of how they play.

They passed the ball better and actually looked more up for it and remember they have a lot of players out injured, we can't make excuses for how bad we were.

When Wood went off why the hell no go with Riberio, if he's good enough for the bench he should be good enough to play and it would at last potentially have given us a focal point up front instead of just throwing our hands up and praying we could see it out.

It's not over till the fat lady sings but why do we make it so f***ing hard for ourselves ....
