Just looking at Brighton's home form, and they're really not that good at home at all.

They've only won 3 from 9 games at home since the start of October, and have dropped points to Sheff U, Burnley, and Everton at home in that period too.

So, out of the bottom 5 teams excluding us, they've only beat 1 at home which is Luton, and failed to beat the other 3 which they've played.

We simply can't be going to a side with a home record that bad against bottom teams and not coming away with points.

Must "win"? No, but "must at least draw"? Yes, 100%. This is as big an opportunity as the West Ham game for points.

Is this worse for us than a nice 2-0? Now that Brighton have no way back surely they won’t worry about resting anyone against us. I suppose as long as they’re knackered it doesn’t matter though.
They'll be embarrassed and want a reaction at the weekend. It's also the first time they've lost three in a row under Current Trendy Manager so the chances are against them losing again? We should be able to get a draw though.

Which will play exactly into our hands, try to be aggressive from the off and Elanga will score from a counter attack within 5 minutes.

Some of the defending against Roma was proper proper shite.

And they played Luton in the first few weeks of the season before Luton quickly realised how to make a fight of it.

Knew Brighton weren't playing as well as they were playing last season, but surprised just how bad their home form has been. Will be happy with a point but think we a more than capable of taking all 3, providing we make no silly mistakes, and more importantly, the officials actually know the rules this week and apply them fairly!

Fingers crossed that their recent results, midweek match and European disappointment take their toll.

Wish this was a Saturday game.
Too right, I'll be sat in a pub for mother in law's day, meal's at one so wondering how I can make a sharp exit.

Indeed he did,Duncan.
This probably reinforced Brian Clough’s view that he always enjoyed visiting the City Ground
when he was manager at Derby as we made the best sandwiches in the Football League.
Looking through our "bible" yesterday the Ken Smales book I noticed that Terry Hennessey took a couple of pens for us and also looking through the book there's a glaring error. I guessed the anniversary was coming up for our infamous trip to Newcastle but in the Smales book he's got it as March 6th 1974 which is impossible as that was a Wednesday. It was in fact Saturday March 9th. So it's 50 years ago tomorrow. YOU GEORDIE SCUM. NEVER FORGOTTEN OR FORGIVEN

Wouldn't go as far as saying shit, but certainly not as good as last season, the wins from last season have become a lot of draws this season. They do only have 2 more wins at home than we do.
2 Wins more and 4 or 5 defeats less.
If we turned all our home defeats into draws, we'd be a lot better off.
