Fair result for a very bity half.

When we're fluid, we're quietly effective. But we don't half make thinks difficult with basic stuff.

I think we can make the extra two days prep count in this second half if we stay on top of our own game.

First ten we were poor. Since then we've grown into the game. Lovely goal by CHO after being given a tug, so good perseverance. Sels looks rock solid. Tavares has looked excellent attacking, but he's a bit of an adventure in our back third. CHO's individual moment aside, it's been a rather stop/start first half. First 15 will be key in half two.

Tavares gives me nightmares every time he is defending he is so careless with the ball. Simple errors seem to cost us every game Yates gave away a needless corner and they score.

Just think we need to move the ball faster forward and use our pace more.

The game is there to be won hopefully we can do it.

Nuno will do his magic at half time so its 3 points going North. These are nothing special and dirty to boot.
New goalkeeper looks fine and the referee is letting the game flow a bit.

Exactly. Take the game to them and get angry with desire not slowing it down. Dominguez must have a migraine attack day so try the new guy. Give Elanga something to go for.
We have to win this make no mistake.

Agreed. Constantly blaming the referee every week is just bullshit, at some point. I think she's had a good half.

If it was MGW sent off on a second yellow on any of those subsequent niggles we’d be going barmy. He’s probably got one foul left in him before he goes - so he’ll get the hook for Scott at half time if Iraola has any sense.

The penalty was a joke but not her job, that’s VAR to call as I don’t think she had a particularly fantastic view of it.

She’s let the game go, not blown up unnecessarily and I’ve enjoyed the flow as a result of it. That has helped us as Yates and Dominguez have got progressively more into the game/more dominant as they’ve been allowed to tackle and compete physically.

Other than a few sloppy passes I actually think we have been okay. The lads have grown into it and our new keeper is 100% more solid and commanding than Turner and Vlach. Don’t concede and then bring on Reyna around 65 and we have more than enough about us to take the 3 points here today - hopefully the young striker gets a run out too
