20 year old England under age player, on the books of Arsenal and Barcelona.
He may turn out to be a dud, but he is young with an excellent pedigree.

Worth a punt in my opinion.

If I understand correctly, Taylor says this is happening, that it will be a buy and not a loan, and that he will play for the U23 initially. It's a transfer for next year.

Just been reading up on this fella. Impressive CV! First Englishman to play for Barca since old jug ears himself. I remember seeing the articles at the time.

Our ex-Barca signing Roger Rieira didn’t do very much so let’s hope this guy is more influential.

It does seem footballers in this mould are incredibly versatile across many different tactical systems, so he could prove to be an asset over the long term.

Let’s hope he’s more Cohen than Bostock/Bastians/Bopp.

If you could design an 8, he'd probably look like him stylistically. Looks to have a bit of that Barkley/McGugan about him (obviously hugely different levels). But just that natural powerful strike from a strong core, can set his body to strike both footed well. Sort you want arriving late on the edge.

If it all translates, who knows.

Looks like a strong lad who shouldn’t be intimidated by Championship hackers.

He may not be good enough for Barcelona but could blossom for us . Time will tell, but we need to trust our recruiters who know a damn sight more than the majority of posters on here.
