They're a better side than they were in the first game, they're sat in a comfortable 14th spot and look likely to avoid the drop.

In an ideal world we get this game won early and get the players ready for Leipzig on Wednesday.

Can’t wait for this, hopefully Villa do us a favour Saturday dinner time and it will be a cracking away day.

DO they still play it out from the back? Worked well last time...

They have signed a new team since then

True but they have signed a couple of dirty ****s

I fully expect Villa to get at least a point but I'm backing them to win.

That'll give us the little bit of extra incentive to take this lot apart.

Just a reminder that Forest are in better form than Arsenal, United, Newcastle, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Good point...we need to be up for this one. We can’t sleepwalk

Hoping for a 3 nil win

Well I've just read that both their centre backs- Boly and Mckenna - suffered hamstring injuries at the weekend and are both out and they're trying to get permission from the league to bring another cb back into their squad!
That's got to be a big positive for us.

f*** me they’ve got about 90 players haven’t they?

Well we need to be careful with this fixture these histree clubs that have won the European Cup can be good on their own turf

Cooper moaning about injuries ffs, that's why you have a 40 man squad dickhead. If they hadn't have signed 25 players this season I might have had a bit of sympathy, lol

Last time I went we lost 4-0 and they were European champions

For the 4-0 loss I was with a Notts County mate - he was gutted but couldn't believe the way we sang our way through it. Including seamlessly switching "3-0 3-0" to "4-0" when the fourth went in. Fair play to him he is still following County home and away.

Some years later, I went on as a half-time substitute for Manchester City at the City Ground and felt a sharp nudge in the back as I was making my way down the tunnel. It came with an unmistakable voice: ‘Young man, you’d have been a better player if you had come and signed for me.’ I smiled, made my way on to the pitch and, mid-way through the half, scored with a diving header to clinch victory. I turned towards the dug-outs and there was Cloughie giving me his distinctive thumbs-up as if to say ‘great goal, son.'”

They have a 35 man squad:

  • 3 Keepers - 1 Injured
  • 12 Defenders - 5 Injured
  • 12 Midfielders - 2 Injured, 1 Doubtful
  • 8 Forwards - 1 Injured
We have a squad of 23 players with 1 Injury (John Stones)

My last time at Forest was around 1971. We were standing on the Terrace opposite the old main stand chatting to some Forest supporters. Something came on the tannoy referencing Brian Clough, then manager of Derby County, drawing predictable jeers from the crowd. This included the ones we we talking to.

My mate turned to them and said that they were just jealous that he wasn’t managing Forest. They all nodded in agreement!

WORTH A WATCH FOR THE YOUNGER VIEWERS..

Last time i went was approx 1995. Last game of the season.
They won 1-0 to qualify for europ with frank clarke as manager. Remember him?

I got Smacked outside from behind, cheap shot *****.
It was kicking off all the way back to the train station.

We were staying over for the night so just stayed in our hotel til all the blues had f**ked off home

Forest are in good form and Cooper is a decent coach so this should be tough. They made their Liverpool home match into a cup final so I’d expect the home crowd to try and make it as raucous as possible. We could do with a good start just to quieten down the ground.

What are you talking about, Forest defence has been decimated through injury, we should and will get the 3 points

I think City will be canny enough to get the points, but Forest are much tougher than 3 months ago, I hope we turn up.

Forest's defence is garbage. Midfield not much better. Gibbs-White & Johnson are a threat.

No need to request our away fans to give everything. They turn up every game. Always loud and proud. CTID

There only hope is to kick the shit out of us and break up play going down , first half might be a real slog, don’t sound off at half time !
