Loans from the Premier League

I wonder what player we can loan this season only to lose them at the critical time of the season?.

Loan a left back now and a winger and/or striker in a month?

Or leave the left back a while so we have them until January?

Just a LB please - wholesale changes take too long to bed in

Good point. Look at Festa.

We've added some decent players (and some crap) to a team that made the play-offs last season. If the tactical genius of a manager could just mould them into something which was tactically appropriate, we'd surely be gunning for the top two.

Holds breath.

Dies.

What about Danny Rose from Spurs? At the end of last season started 4 games for them as a left back. Got some good praise from Harry. We must hurry up cause there's a rumour of him joining dirty weeds on loan.

What forest should do, is sign loan players they stand an actual chance of buying in january. That way, we can keep things relatively consistant and not be back to square 1 in december when these players have to go back and leave us with a void to fill.

Look down the leagues, for decentish players that we have at least a slight chance of buying.

Exactly, the benefit we get from having these players seems to be negated by the drop in form when we lose them again.

Indeed. We end up having to go back to a makeshift side, shuffling players around- and invariably the side looks weaker.

Mansfield Town defender Tom Naylor is going to have trials with unnamed PL and nPC sides in next 2 weeks.
Not a PL player but young and lokal guy so fits Doughty's policy. Rumours are that Charlton and Leeds are looking at him. Could we be interested?

Loan them in now, they all would have to leave early December.

And you cannot loan them again................

Can't we get them on a year long loan still at the moment? Isn't the "Emergency Loan" period not for some time yet?
