Loan window 28th march 2013

I beleive this is the date. How many will billy bring in? I can see him wanting a bit of pace to mix things up and give him another option off the bench. Can't see more than one though.

Also does anyone know if jara will be able to play in the play offs, should we get there? I'm not sure of his loan status.

Cheers.

To be honest I hope we don't loan anyone, unless they're spectacular. We've got enough loan players in the first team already, and we're trying to build something, that isn't going to work with half the team not being our players.

Jara is a long-term loan isn't he? So he should be available untill after the play-offs should we get there.

I would like to see us bring a winger in, someone with raw pace, and ideally enough ability to come inside and deliver too.

It seems unlikely, but I can't see why Man City bothered with Scott Sinclair, maybe he could be tempted to play some football and get his name about for a summer move. Or maybe he's content picking up his stupid money for naff all.

Kightly would be a good option, even if he doesn't quite have the 'raw pace'.

I think we missed out big time on Alexander Kacaniklic, who went on loan to Burnley. Obviously he did well at Watford when Dyche was there, so maybe that has something to do with it. But he'd be absolutely perfect. They have Ross Wallace, Keith Treacy, Junior Stanislas and now Kacaniklic as wide options. Don't know why they need four. Although hasn't done them much good and they're out of the play-off race.

Strikers - that's what Billy wants - need at least 6 strikers in the squad at all times.

We only have 4 & a crocked Tudgay, so I expect 1 -2 strikers as the priority.

Pretty sure we only had 2 loan signings in the starting 11 Saturday. And one has been here pretty much all season.

Yeah, I'd say two in the starting eleven is enough, personally.

I guess. One has been here a long time, Ward, so adding another to the starting line-up if they're going to bring something to the team won't be too much of an upset I don't think.

Tudgay should be doing light training by now. In a month's time , he should be back fit and ready.

We have more than enough strikers , it's wingers we do not have in the squad. No option on the bench for someone with pace to run at defenders and whip crosses in.

Jara and Ward are both long-term loans, rather than of the emergency sort with a maximum duration of 93 days. So I think both will be fine for the play-offs, but I'm happy to be corrected. Given our form, I doubt we'll sign anyone else. But it would be a nice surprise!

At this stage of the season and the way we're playing right now, who would you drop in favour of a new loan signing?

I wouldn't be surprised if Billy chooses to stick with the current squad with a view to strengthening during the summer, depending upon which league we're in, of course. :)

We could do with a pacey winger to have on the bench to run at tired legs if we're in need of a goal or two.

we shouldn't bring anyone in that means we have to change formation to accommodate them.

A Sinclair loan might look good on paper, but if it means moving things around, im not sure he's worth it.

I'd imagine a cheeky loan bid for Scott Sinclair wouldn't do any harm - although its very unlikely that we would be able to get him & I'd expect that he wouldn't drop back into the Champ anyway.
