I'm sure I read somewhere, quite a time ago, that Maidstone were the only team to have played in every year of the FA Cup since it started.

Edit: Just wandered downstairs to look through my copy of the Official History of the FA Cup (Sportsmans Book Club edition, 1960) and I think it's Maidenhead that have been ever-present. Crystal Palace were also one of the 15 teams that entered in 1871-2, but must have been another entity as the present Palace team were not founded until 1905.
