I know nothing about how he played last year, but I can tell you for certain Leicester would have finished above us last year if they didn't sell him.

For me, him + Henderson is the best scenario in my eyes. He is as proven as they come and could easily play if Henderson's injury problems persist. Plus it would wind Leicester fans up.

For me, him + Henderson is the best scenario in my eyes. He is as proven as they come and could easily play if Henderson's injury problems persist. Plus it would wind Leicester fans up.

Agreed but if Turner is pretty much about to get out the big pen and sign then he could only come as third unless Hendo is crocked for six months.

Yeah I am just taking it in isolation. My opinion is it's going to be Henderson + 1 other.

I think Schmeichel ticks all the boxes for the "1 other". I haven't even seen Turner play so I can't even comment on him.

Schmeichel kept 11 clean sheets in 36 games last season and Nice conceded the 2nd fewest goals in Ligue1 too with 37, Lens and Brice the fewest with 29 (obviously!).

No problem if he's the experienced back-up but I wouldn't want him as our no.1.

He definitely dropped off in his latter years at Leicester and I think we really need a GK that commands the box & takes crosses & that isn't Schmeichel.

A lot better than Hennessy and cheap so a good backup option.

Also has ties with Nottingham and the East Mids so makes a lot of sense.
