Assuming your MP is a Tory, they’ve probably already filed your email in the ‘ignore unless they pledge funding’ pile.

I'm still waiting for a reply from my email from May 20 when I complained about Dominic Cumface f***ing off to Barny Castle

Think the PA system played it after Derby (is it still Mark Dennison?) and cos the crowd was in such a fab mood everyone just started singing and dancing to it, staying in the stands for about ten minutes. It seems to have grown from there with the feel good factor after Arsenal and Leicester.

I quite like it, to see the whole ground rocking long after the final whistle is amazing and we've been missing the feel good factor for far too long

Will this become a Forest anthem like Mull of Kintyre / Lost that Lovin Feeling?

Where did it come from? Who started it? Is there any link to Nottingham or was it just a case of someone controlling the music at CG randomly playing it after a win and the fans picking up on it?

Zoe has pretty much nailed it. It was a song put on after the Derby game but rather than a it being the usual case of when supporters are already leaving the ground a series of events meant everyone had remained in the stands when it was put on.

The agro between players kicked off at the final whistle so supporters were watching that, then Cooper was just about to do his rounds with the fist bump and everyone was so euphoric and not arsed about running back to their cars they remained in the ground.

This all made the perfect storm for when Depeche Mode dropped, again the euphoria meant that every man, woman and child started singing.

It's definitely a thing now and I'm glad Mark Dennison will have a legacy that will live on because he's been an absolutely brilliant stadium announcer, it's never the same when he's not there.

Does Dennison choose the matchday music as well as being the stadium announcer Notch?

Notwithstanding Just Can't Get Enough (not a tune that would otherwise appeal to me, but is wholly appropriate as an accompaniment to a win), if he is, I don't personally rate his pre-match/half-time choices.

Good question, I don't actually know whether he does choose the playlist or not, maybe someone else can shed some light. Very likely with him being a radio DJ though.

If it unites the fans the team and young and old singing together bouncing around why not we have great support and we haven't had much to sing or dance about on and off the pitch for a couple of years and beyond.

I went to a league game at Swansea, the season we finished 6th and had them in the play-offs. It was played before the match, really got the crowd going
and built the atmosphere, don't know if they still play it pre-game.

As an aside, it's the only DM record I like, thought they were a bunch of talent-free ponces (apart from Vince who's surname escapes me, the one who went on
to form Yazoo).

I was a massive New Romantic/New wave fan but only liked three of theirs - Just Can't Get Enough, New Life and Enjoy the Silence - the second we should play if we get promoted the last one is what Derby should play at the end of games given their attendance..
