That's OK. He's never heard of you anyway.Ha, I'd forgotten all about him!
Do they have goal-line technology in Turkey?
Yes, and it was clearly a goal.Do they have goal-line technology in Turkey?
It looked a bit close.
I'd do a deal with them to bring Jimmy Garner back. Much better suited to us than SangareWonder what's next for Joe?
Read yesterday that his purchase option isn't being triggered - assume that's true given his pitch time over there. Can't see him having any kind of future with us for various reasons.
I wonder if Everton could be persuaded to do some business with us for him - Worrall has always struck me as a Dyche type, they're skint and there's a midfielder there coming to the last year if his contract who'd be perfect for us in Doucoure (Jimmy too).
Dreamland probably, but if the money was right, they're skint and Dyche still likes the player?
Even old Gueye would do a decent job in our squad, not that you'd want to pay for him at 34. Definite yes for Garner or Doucoure from me.I'd do a deal with them to bring Jimmy Garner back. Much better suited to us than Sangare
Pure PSR profit if we manage to sell him
Think we will struggle to get more than 5m though.
And to think Moyes was apparently trying to throw at least twice that amount our way not too long ago.Pure PSR profit if we manage to sell him

I've said this before, but with Joe I've always felt he's not got an outstanding attribute you'd want from a centre back. It means he has to be completely on it and switched for the entire game. When he does that, and he has done it at times, he looks Prem quality. However, one slip (physically or mentally) and he doesn't have those attributes to get himself out of trouble. And everyone makes mistakes, but the elite players can often fix it. Every time Joe makes a mistake, it usually ends up as a goal. It's a shame because I'd love him to have kicked on with us, but I think he's a top end Championship defender and on his best day a lower-Prem centre back in a 3.I think with Joe it was the pressure of being captain of his boyhood club, in such tense circumstances that made him prone to mistakes, that got him shipped out. I don't think he's got the pace to keep up with the athleticism of prem players but he is a great defender. Maybe he'll be back next season. He played superbly when the mix of players was right last season i.e. pace to cover and players with a similar level of determination.
