It was pub football at its best.....everytime germany got away they were just chopped down. They gave away 29 fouls to germanys 10 fouls.

Did you not see the ivory coast play? They just kicked the shit out of germany... Nothing friendly about them.

Colombians aren't the most sporting either, but generally it's night and day.

Mainz have told Jara they don't tolerate that and that he can go.

Hacking people down is one thing; pretending you've been hacked down when you haven't is an entirely different matter.

A cynical nigglely foul to break up play is just as unsportspersonlike as trying to get someone booked...... They conceded 10 goals had 40% of the ball and still managed a foul every 3 minutes.

In 30 years of watching football from all over the world, that was one of the worst ive seen.

Out of their depth and being humiliated, did not have the footballing ability to do anything about it. If I was in a team getting beat 10-0, I think I'd resort to trying to kick crap out of the opponents too.

It isn't. When you hack down the player with the ball, the referee can see that and dish out the foul accordingly. It's an integral part of the game. When you shove your finger up someone's arse, unless the ref has a bum fixation, you'll most likely get away with it.

As it grows as a sport and more money goes into it, it will no doubt become more cynical. As it is, there is no way near the level of cheating in women's football as men's.

Horrendous dive though.

Didn't see that one bill

I saw that Norwegian stay on her feet vs England when she had every right to go down

Jara on Cavani was uncomfortable viewing. This sounds much more up my street. Womens football needs this.

Id be happy to see any of the players on show here finger an opponents bum

It's obviously anti equality, the women can cheat twice as much as Jara.

Whilst your point is anatomically accurate, surely attempting to fist an opponent on the field of play, regardless of gender, is surely worthy of a Red Card, at least?

Fist, yes but what's a cheeky finger between colleagues?

Touché. Jara, clearly, must therefore have been attempting some form of prostate massage?

Jara was clearly concerned about Cavani's constant peeing.

It truly is embarrassing

Now I'm not a person that promotes women's football too much but one thing they have got right is the sportswoman ship (is that a word). Some instances in the women's World Cup have to be commended.

But this is what greed, money, win at all costs mentality gets you.

Guess it depends which games you've seen. There's been a fair amount of diving and play-acting in the Women's World Cup games that I've watched. You can tell it's relatively new to the women's game though, as their acting is generally pretty transparent and unconvincing.

This Jara incident really is ridiculous. If I had to choose between losing a game, or winning as a result of me poking my finger up some bloke's arse then diving to the floor pretending to have been struck in the face, I'd choose to lose, and it wouldn't be a tough decision. It really is pathetic the extent to which some players will disgrace themselves these days in an attempt to win football games.

If you can show me footage of Jamie Ward doing something like this, I'll agree that he's an utter twat who isn't fit to wear the Forest shirt.

Raymondo Ponte'

It's all about mid-table...
You could see what Jara was when he couldn't give a flying f*** in his last dozen games for us.

And he still kept being picked.

Only at Forest.
