I don't rate de vries, he was at fault for two goals against Sheffield united

De Vries is just fine as a back up keeper, he was good enough to get promoted with swansea, i imagine we enquired to give us options in case we received a crazy offer for Darlow

Clear bias. Butland is very good, Darlow is a little over-rated.

Darlow is a good keeper and will be a very good keeper, but Butland is an exceptional prospect.

I don't want to lose Darlow, but if we did and then replaced him with Butland, I'd have precisely no complaints.

The thing is Butland hasn't really stepped up! He isn't likely to be first choice at Stoke anytime soon and spent time out on loan at Barnsley last season, so if it came down to it, he may fancy coming to Forest.

Alternatively, I may be utterly deluded!
