It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

Talking about Umbro, I m actually wearing the 2011 „Tailored by Umbro“ Shirt this morning, in a remarkable coincidence.

Bloody lovely it is, too.

I actually really liked that one.

I liked that shirt, but I thought the colour washed out pretty quickly turning it in to a pink colour rather than red.

Wash it at a lower temperature (no higher than 30 degrees maximum) which I do for all my shirts, and let them air-dry.

It is splitting hairs, but there are loads of conflicting bits of information out there about the true value which we are unlikely to ever find out. I always believed the £170m was based on that first season revenue in the Premiership, including the parachute payments should you go down, so the minimum a season in the Premiership you would walk away with.

I think there’s some cross purpose chat with this number, to be fair. You’re right, the £170m quoted is based on a worst case - finish last next season and get £100m for the pleasure and then get the parachute payments.

That number is what we would be given upon relegation and then staggered for 3 years.

The immediate bump, which is what is talked about in the Deloitte report, is based on increased revenues from today onwards - ie what we can spend tomorrow.

It’s clear that both numbers are in play - and how much we get for promotion is in part down to how we market ourselves.

Are we seeing a teaser for the new shirt with these new frames for the video intros and outros?

Forest back in the BIG TIME... fake shirts on sale in Turkey. 😮
Are Man U going for another one of those retro “Newton Heath“ shirts then? (The yellow/green one at the back).

You've been able to get our shirts from the DHGate for a while.

I was thinking of getting our away kit from this season, as it's sold out at Forest (thanks Macron, ya shits) and I wanted to get players on the back of each shirt

No, I believe the away kit is white with black trim and the third kit is yellow with black trim.

I do actually like the look of that snide Newton Heath one though

Many years ago, when I still had hair, I worked early in my IT career for one of their sponsors, and that green/yellow half/half shirt was very popular then.

From memory, there was some significant date around an anniversary of Newton Heath (the club that morphed into the modern Manchester United).

Yes Newton Heath changed to Man Utd in 1902 and that yellow and green strip was from the 92/94 season so it must have been to commemorate 90 years.

Being 11/12 years old at the time I too had hair then, good times

Yeah I remember the kit from the 90s, with the weird lace bit on the collar. I think a lot of kids at our school were wearing it back then.

Where's me hammer?
If they release the kit before i go on holiday, ill buy one for me and the three kids.... if they dont i wont bother.

Yeah, Forest need to get their fingers out here, because demand will again be massive, more so given the clubs‘ promotion.

i am sure they and Macron will find some way to cock it up though, they usually do.

I say it every year but I don't understand why Forest doesn't have the kit in time for father's day which is then a no brainer for a gift, whilst then enabling it to be available for summer holidays.

I own reps of both the home and away shirts from DHGate (also due to lack of stock from the club store) but the away shirt is unfortunately a pretty poor replica. I can send you some pictures on a DM if you'd like to see it properly?

The home shirt was surprisingly good, though!

Thanks mate, but I've since gone off the idea. By the time I get to the shop we'll only have the Premier League numbers and letters :D

I was thinking this morning as I wandered about on my morning exercise that BOXT stuck lucky in their sponsorship with us this year.

I suppose in the hard nosed world of business the price of sponsorship on our shirt has shot up now. I wonder if they will get forced out by a bigger name.

I noticed that they also have sponsorship with Leeds, they've got BOXT on the arms of their shirt.

I believe the sponsorship deal with us was only for 12 months and I'd be surprised if BOXT are big enough to have the budget required to be a front of shirt sponsor in the Premier League.

As long as it isn’t some shitty gambling sponsor sullying the shirt, I’ll be happy.

The one, lone, positive of the Fawaz era was being able to buy the shirts without the sponsor on. I wish that was a common thing in football.

Looking forward to seeing what the shirts look like. They better be something special, befitting a Premier League team.
