I highly doubt either Luton or Sheffield United will break Derby's record, but I do think that both sides look like two of the weakest promoted sides in recent years. Hard to see how either have enough quality in their ranks to avoid being comfortably relegated at the moment.

Its a bit misleading though because the narration from Billy was "FFS Lliman why have you signed a contract with this shower of bastards? Ere av the number 10 shirt to celebrate the amount of games it'll tek miseryguts gaffer to get fired, it'll not mek up for Champions league football but at least its summat".

Shame we're playing them so early though could be a blessing if they've lost players and not managed to replace at that point. We saw the pull of the prem last year but the market feels very different this year.

Yeah last year everyone wanted to be playing regularly to get into World Cup squads so they were moving to clubs where that would happen. Also, I think FFP has suddenly started to be taken seriously. And of course Saudi.

Sheff and Luton will both go down on 20 odd points.

Wolves, Fulham, Burnley and probably us will be in the relegation battle hoping to avoid the 3rd spot.

Wolves, Fulham, Burnley, Everton - One of these will be fine. Not sure which but there wont be 7 or 8 teams that could go down until the last week or so this year.

I do think that Sheffield and Luton will struggle as well. I think it's easier to get relegated last year. Look at Leeds and Leicester going down. This year will be a bit more straight forward and hopefully we are away from it by 5 points or so in the last couple of rounds!

Burnley could easily be a disaster as well. Kompany gets hyped up, he did a good job last year but he’s saying he’ll play a similar way this season. Could be a breath of fresh air and work, more likely it’ll be suicide.
How he adapts will be the making of him. Bit like our Steve last year he'll have to find a compromise...

I think the Saudi point is the main sticking point for many transfers. Players, agents and possibly even clubs are playing the waiting game to see if a ridiculous bid comes in from Saudi Arabia. Even if they don't want the move it can be used as leverage.

Everton will be in and around that group too
I reckon Everton will be OK once again. They might hang around 13-16 in the table but they have made a decent signing in Danjuma in an area they really needed quality. Dyche's stats with them since January are good too, they'd have been comfortably mid-table if they'd had his PPG ratio for the whole season.

Scoring goals will still be an issue for them.

Depends if his team can keep the ball. We couldn't, and still can't.

DCL is sadly perfect for Dyche's tactics.

If he stays fit and their wingers fire enough cross in, Everton will be comfortably mid table for me.
Agreed.

They have a low ceiling, but should comfortably out perform relegation teams with a fit DCL and be comfortable in lower mid table.

Sheff U and Luton are likely two of the worst promoted teams in a long time. I'd be very surprised if either stays up.

We have a really good chance to consolidate as a PL team.

Haven't Everton signed Danjuma?
