If the club is still tabling bids (and might even meet the release clause), I would imagine Sangaré hasn't given an assertive "No!".

Perhaps the background chatter leads the club to believe there is a chance we might get our man, no matter how slim that chance might be.

There's no way this falls apart because we're not willing to pay the extra €3m. He'll either reject the contract or we'll meet the release clause.

The difference with a release clause is payment terms though. It can’t be prorated in the same way a standard offer can, so has a drastic impact on FFP.

I've heard the same.

From journalists with millions of followers on Twatter.
Yeah, I'm not claiming any exclusive with that, just I'd been told exactly the same as these journos (probably from the same source)/

His representatives wouldn't have even spoken to us if there wasn't a chance.
Think a lot of our bids have been to test PSVs resolve and to see if they were willing to negotiate.

At least all of this stuff is sorted either way in the next 24 hours. How our squad looks tomorrow night is gonna be fascinating, either way.

Hope the medical crew have kept some open appointment times for the afternoon, they might be a tad busy.

Bakayoko has knocked back Brentford as well, sounds like PSV have players that actually value champions league football rather than just saying that its what they want.
Or in reality Liverpool have come in the hijack the move so he cares more about going to a top team that offers both over Brentford or PSV

Eindhoven’s a nice little town, but it’s not got the beating heart of Nottingham.
Come on Ibrahim come and dip your toe in the big time and be the Reds new king. You won’t regret it.

That's life, get over it. Nearly every club will be out performing the Saudis, but still have lost a load of players to them. Money talks.
