So if after paying £45 for away membership you’re one of the unlucky ones that miss out on away tickets continuously and don’t make 3 away games you are then excluded from away membership the season after?!
Unless they change the rules again.........

Cheers. I notice that is on the away membership discussion. I was wondering if this is a blanket wipe of all history on the system now.

I'm ok with season card thank god but can see why many others are getting worried.
Same here I have a season ticket so home games are fine for Me, people without should probably form a queue at the ticket office now to attempt to get a ticket for West Ham at home.

Yes but think of all those games where you'll eagerly log on, after an age finally get tickets in your basket only to see you've timed out when you come to pay.
Hours and hours of fun guaranteed for your 45 quid 😄

Unless there is a cap on home memberships too, there will be no general sale periods and therefore no way for anyone new to get booking history going forward.
Very shortsighted if they don't allow any new fans but it looks like this is the option they've chosen for this season. Looks like we'll be going to Meadow Lane instead.

This is it though. There will be no queue if no cap as the demand for home memberships will exceed the capacity.

Yes that’s it. It’s gonna be hard to even travel to games with how often things are changed in this league unless you change your working hours at the drop of a hat.
I suppose that could help the situation with fans unable/unwilling to attend as many away games as they
hoped due to weird kick-off times and days.
Also, the fact that many games are televised allied to the cost of living crisis might mean the novelty soon
wears off, especially if (God forbid)we are struggling.

I seem to have completely missed out this paragraph that indicates those home membership tiers will indeed be capped:

Please note that only a limited number of each Memberships will be sold to ensure that priority access is granted to our matches.

Is that not because of the reduction in attendance if/when the Main Stand is rebuilt.

Man City season ticket holders can buy 2 additional tickets each for the first 3 x home games - this includes Forest game.

It's the reality of the Premier League isn't it?

I mean it's shit that people will miss out (there is zero chance of me attending any games next season) but then again better demand outstrip supply than the other way round.

The fact that the club are charging £60 to buy a lottery ticket for home tickets is mental when most folk can’t afford to turn the bloody big light on as well.
That £60 gold membership is only for those who didn't renew season cards. They should be good to get any ticket they apply for.

I think it’s for people who had a home membership last year too? I may of misread though.

Ah yes that would make sense. Still, those numbers would be good for them to secure a matchday ticket if wanted.

Inevitably any change to ticket policy will draw a big reaction.
I‘ve had a season ticket every season since 1991/92 - yes I missed out on the 1991 Cup Final.
I‘ve had away membership for many years and go to nearly all away matches. Therefore I expect to be one of the 400.
Having travelled far and wide throughout this time - relegation in 2004, the wilderness years in League 1, and the the barren years in the Championship, I feel the new system has merit. I’ve never bought away membership to ensure key away matches like Derby.
Over recent months and especially in May for the Play Off Final I‘ve seen many posts about failure to obtain tickets especially for away games from posters who rarely travel. Although we had many away sell-outs there were games supporters could have attended without away membership including our first game at Coventry. Following the surge under SC we didn’t sellout at Swansea and Cardiff, nor at Boro on Boxing Day.
Furthermore for Wembley many disabled supporters who have to purchase by calling the Ticket Office could not get through because other supporters were using that line despite being told to book on line. It took me eight hours using two phones to eventually purchase my tickets despite having fifty six priority points.
It‘s easy to criticise the Club but they are rewarding loyalty - season card holders will have home seats guaranteed. The most loyal away supporters will also be guaranteed (for a twenty four hour slot) tickets to away games. More supporters will be able to attend away matches with the 3,000 allocation for virtually all games.
the supporters I feel for most are those who are suffering financially who will be priced out of games and thereby also denying their children to attend.
I don’t expect this to be a popular opinion but it is my view.
One change which should be made is for absent season card holders to be able to make their seats available on an individual game basis.

That, above. And thats from someone who may not qualify for anything

And if you ‘went to away games in League 1’ or ‘had a season ticket before you emigrated’ do you seriously expect any priority now? How would that work?

I went to more games in both League 1 seasons than I did last year. Don’t expect recognition for it though

Have you had your Priority Plus qualification confirmed by the club yet?
Just wondering when those emails are being sent out.
