HENRI has left the building

Well Red

Great play be Henri Lansbury on Saturday. He is an absolute powerhouse.
When attacking he is very direct and drives into the spaces created by Cox and Mackie, etc. Good eye for a pass and works well with Reid.
Good record with penalty taking
Off the ball he shadows his man well and always puts opposition under pressure. His tackling is robust and combative.

Can over-run the ball and then goes for 40/60 challenges................these can become yellow cards. Plus shirt off as well.
Finally is he on 10 cards and so will be suspended now?

Is he likely to get 'poached' by the Premier Clubs? I reckon he will be our best midfielder when we get promoted!!!

Our best player, like the rest of our good players, they should be not for sale.

Lansbury has been class, Davies has had a brilliant affect on him since coming in.

Re: Our HENRI

Nottingham Forest’s Henri Lansbury tucked away two penalties in the 4-1 win over Blackburn – but wouldn’t have made manager Billy Davies quite so happy by picking up a booking for a bad foul in the second half.It was his tenth of the season in just 26 games – making him along with Carl Dickinson of Port Vale the first to reach the mark that earns a two game suspension. The 23-year-old Lansbury, who started out at Arsenal being tipped for great things, will miss Forest’s FA Cup Fourth round tie at home to Preston plus a Championship match at Watford.

Snippet from mail. Needs to cut the silly yellows out. 10 a season is far too many and theres a long way to go yet.

Our best player. Quality. Strong, great vision, technically very good, keeps possession well and can tackle. Does need to cut out the yellows and occasional petulance.

He must listen in training. Against Westham he skied 2 or 3 25 yarders. Against Bolton he struck 3 low and hard 25 yarders. The lad has a lot more goals in him as he develops.

Class player.

One of a few we must keep hold of at all costs.

Re: Our HENRI

He is absolute class, but it's just a shame that should we not gain promotion this season, we'd probably have to face reality that a Premier League team will take him from us. I hate that it's like that these days, no teams are ever allowed to develop their own players anymore, and I know we bought him from Arsenal, but we're the ones who've given him the vital first team role he deserves.

these days? Big clubs have always brought the smaller clubs best players

Yeah I know, but they were at least given a year or 2 as stars for that club, or to become established. Like when Chelsea signed Joe Cole, Scott Parker, Damien Duff, Shaun Wright-Phillips etc

Re: Our HENRI

I wonder if his booking was tactical?

If you're going to miss two games, I'd guess that PNE in the cup would be one of them.
