Good read Rich.

It raises the question- whatever happened to Guy Moussi?

Nice read that mate and sums up what the Forest fans are feeling at the moment nicely..

Decent article again. The fee for Michael Mance was apparently only £500k, which is daylight robbery for what we got.

Oh and to answer the question about Guy Moussi, he is back in France but currently without a club.

Brilliant, just one addition from me.

There was some fans who thought Pearce was tactically inept.

I can think of 3 substitutions and formation changes that Pearce has have made during the matches that have had a positive influence on the result.

Glad youve written this, it puts into words for me something I've been thinking for the last week or two......'ITS DIFFERENT THIS TIME!'

The division amongst the fans regarding the manager and the belief that we play each game to win are the biggest changes.

Over the last 15 years we have been ground down to the point where we feared playing Walsall, Bournemouth, Barnsley et al as they are bogey teams. After the first game SP did an interview in which he said 'we play every game to win' and being a Forest fan felt better than it had done for a long time. Of course we had beaten Blackpool at home (a traditional bogey fixture) and quickly laid other ghosts to rest at Bournemouth, and at home to Reading.

I now genuinely feel the way i did when we came down in 93 and 98. Back then we expected to win games, and expected promotion. The positive attitude has returned. The crowd has reacted, it makes more noise.

It helps of course that just like the 93/4 and 98/9 seasons, we have a potent threat up front.

One final point, we are winning games when playing badly. We were second best against Bournemouth, Wednesday and Fulham yet beat them all. We have enough quality all over the pitch that we can almost rely on the occasional moment of brilliance to bail us out when we are having an off day.

It really is different this time. We are going to win the league!!

Great post, this bit made me cringe though:

"The players now want to win for him rather than win with him."

He's injured not dying lol

Good read. it's put me in the mood for the weekend.

Speaking with a Cardiff City mate on Saturday who was saying he's not worried about us and we'll definitely find a way to cock it up again. Probably projecting from his own experiences, but I was going blue in the face trying to explain to him that this is different.

Honestly think we'll be in Europe by July 2016.

Glad youve written this, it puts into words for me something I've been thinking for the last week or two......'ITS DIFFERENT THIS TIME!'!

This sums up my thoughts entirely, after all the shit and dross, broken promises, knob head managers, knob head players, constantly walking like lemmings into the jaws of defeat when it was easier to win, something is just "different".... Now i know some on here have given some of the reactions in the Fulham thread a bit of stick and some quite rightly deserve it but this is Forest, we never do things the easy or even the correct way at times certainly not since Frank left or maybe even since Clough left.. when Fulham scored to make it 2-2 you have to forgive some for thinking "here we go" because if your under the age of say 27 thats how supporting forest has always been.... cruising and then boom something happens and what we have deserved we havent got..... but as the post ive quoted suggests "somethings different".... is it Mr Pearce? Fawaz sticking his hand into his deep pockets as well as playing the transfer market like a legend with the Darlow Lacelles in exchange for Britt, MM, Antonio etc etc? is it the return of John Mcgovern? Is it the fans reuniting under the excellent work of rich and his band of merry men? The new CEO helping Fawaz out? or is it all of the above? i d like to think its the later all culminating into the final goal of getting us up to the promised land.... i dont care how we do it top, 2nd or play offs as long as we do it.... one thing i am for certain something is different now and something good is certainly gonna happen.

What i would like to add about the article rich is best part of that whole excellent piece for me is the photo of clough at the bottom, never seen that picture before its like the Messiah preaching to the masses, beautiful.

If i were a Cardiff fan id be worried about the shit in my own back garden before commenting on somebody elses, the league tends not to lie after the first ten games and we aint far off that.

Cheers mate, the photo was the cover of the programme for the Fulham game.
