I think kane will start scoring regularly at the right club sooner or later. Having said that sportsdirect dont count as a sports news website (credibility =0 )

Seen him a couple of times this season for Spurs Reserves and the England U21s.

He knows where the Onion Wallet is but he's not as quick and strong as someone like Wickham yet. Certainly wouldn't weaken the squad if he came in but would be disappointed if he was our only signing.

Ah the benefit of hindsight!

This was the first place I heard of the lad.
First Bale now Kane!!

Im sticking by my guns he was very poor when he played in the championship, obviously something has clicked. He may of put on some muscle or got a bit fitter.

Whilst we are here we all bashed Tom Ince as well :) We dont judge players well here but in fairness I think any player who comes here just becomes crap and I havent got a clue why.

I think it just highlights how unpredictable a players development can be. A mixture of so many things can turn a player in to a world beater or a washed up lower league player.

Obviously players have a certain skill level and ceilings but it just goes to show that being in the right place at the right time, getting the right manager for your career, the right players around you, a bit of luck with form, suddenly coming of age or a whole host of other things coming together can make or break a player.

He seems to have always had an eye for goal but not been quick or strong enough. Isn't Les Ferdinand his forward coach? Could explain his upturn.

True. Bale started as a left-back at Southampton and Spurs bought him with that in mind, playing him very seldom in the early days. When he did finally get his chance he was only moved further up the pitch to accommodate Assou-Ekotto's return from injury.

The rest is history.

He looked like a donkey for Leicester, now he's the best striker in the Premier League. It just shows you should never write a youngster off

He looks excellent at the moment.
Let's not build him up to be England's saviour just yet. He can really do without that pressure.
Let's just give him a cap and take it from there. I know it's a little boring. But hey the lack of a media circus may prove fruitful.

You'd need Hendo in there to sure up that midfield. It'll get walked through.

England are a bit like Forest unfortunately, they make good players look bad. Probably due to the pressure of playing for the shirt/history/fans.

As soon as he starts playing for England, he'll be the next overpaid footballer who doesn't perform for his country.

Each game I keep thinking he's going to turn crap. He looks so crap at dribbling, but he just seems able to keep the ball and go past players.
