Good old Guy.

A genuinely nice bloke too.

He was never the most talented player but I never questioned his attitude or work rate or desire........the opposite of too many of our players over the last few years.

If Moussi was an Englishman by the name of John Smith nobody would've accepted him not having the talent but giving 120% in every game. When he managed to complete a pass the fans could groan "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSEE" whilst ignoring the 10 other f*** ups he'd just done

I would have him back now, provided it was on a low enough wage (squad player type). Probably wouldn't take too much convincing as he doesn't have a club at the moment.

He wasn't the most gifted but he worked hard and protected the defence (and was decent enough cover for McKenna). We don't have a player like that really, except probably Lam.

Like I said , He would only block a pathway for the likes of Anel, We need to take the Moussi tinted glasses off for a moment , Yes he is a great guy, Yes he gives 110%
But he was never a great player, Now on the other hand Cohen is also a Great Guy and gives 110% and I would like to think he is a far better player than Moussi,
And Cohen is already our player we don't need another.

For those that haven't seen Anel play , Then all I say is this guy won't be playing for us in a few seasons time , I want to see him in the first team before long and then maybe you will see what I see.

A player that likes to go on long tricky runs up the middle of the pitch , A player that has all the time in the world on the ball.

A player that passes the ball to a red shirt every time.

A player that can defend and break up play. A player that can score goals.

Couldn't agree more boys.

But surely this was just a favour. I can't believe we seriously looking at him as a player.

I would hate to see him playing the next u23 game if it was a League game as well. Suppose he can use this Midlands Reserve League game like yesterday.

Question is Lard. Is Anel better than Marcus Tudgay?
:giveheart:

I totally agree with you. Moussi shouldn't be near the squad and we should be looking to move Cohen into a squad player not a first team player.
Lam should be getting the nod at the moment in CM but we should be looking at Anel to come in over the next few weeks and months too.

I love how everybody is talking about him like he was a one legged footballer who tried his best but was terrible.

He declined in his last season but he was still a very good player before his injury problems. Good enough to have Premier League offers on the table but opted to stay here instead.

THAT D***y game - the 1st half, him, Gunter and Ramsey were, on thoughtful reflection, taking the absolute piss out of the sheep up the right side. It was an absolute joy to watch. \o/

It was fantastic to watch.

Moose wining everything in midfield, cleaning up, and giving it to Ramsey to weave magic. Lovely.

And Guy was a better player than many give him credit for.

When he was playing he always reminded me of one of those giant inflatable arm flailing tube men

Moussi on his day was incredible. I did enjoy his ability to do something amazing one moment then something inexplicably bad the next. One of the most fun players to watch over recent years because you never knew what he was going to do - other than he'd give everything.

Would be happy to see him back as back up.

Something about that team where players seemed to play at their best and even beyond their level
