Problem is that it'd be their cup final, so there will probably be shit loads of nasty and reckless challenges flying about. We don't need to.
We are Premier League, they are League One. There are 30 odd teams inbetween us at the moment.
They don't even register for me at the moment. I don't want to play them because like Ashley says, risk of injury, but also because the games always draw away focus from more important things before/after.

Plus they haven't beat us for nearly 5 years anyway, so I don't see what there is to gain from beating Derby again. I'd take much more satisfaction from them becoming an irrelevance to us like Notts County personally.

Yes, the Derby shirts have definitely dropped in numbers since they've stopped fighting to the end. Only really see the old boys wearing them now, not many young ones.

Derby shirts are very rare around here since they stopped challenging for promotion to the Premier League (saw one of the locals who used to wear one donning a Man United shirt recently though, which made me laugh
). And when I do see one, they are mostly middle aged blokes. Feels like they have lost a generation of supporters. Its almost as if being a club that is despised across English football for being cheats and a fanbase that is bitter and deluded isn't an attractive proposition for young people looking for a club to support. Who'd have thought eh?
