Like most Forest fans, I have absolutely no issue with Notts County, and genuinely like to see them do well. I'd love for there to be a proper league match between us, and would love it even more if that was in the Premiership.

My gripes with County, as I've stated before, are mainly centred around the (mis)treatment of the rugby club, and the secrecy surrounding the takeover.

However, Munto have bee true to their word (so far) and spent on the team. No jealousy, but definite intrigue. If I was a billionaire (and didn't support Forest) I'd probably pick my plaything from the lower leagues too. Surely there has to be more satisfaction in doing that than buying a team already competing at the top.

What it will show, should County reach the sparkling Premiership lights, I'm not sure. Would it be the final nail in the coffin that money is ruining football, or will it be more along the lines that anything is possible?

I'm guessing somewhere in the middle, and I hope you pick up some more supporters on the way.

I just view, and I know this is the business side rather than the playing side, acts of reneging on contracts followed by office booting petulance quite dimly. I'd be ashamed if Forest did that. I'm not trying to moralise, I know you have no input into that at all, but I just think it's a bit off to do something like that when history showed the ground sharing to be mutually beneficial.

Either way, cracking result at the weekend.

How's Moloney doing? I rate him highly, and would quite like him back!

Quality, he really has been first class. Has a massive future, just hope we're allowed to keep him for the whole season. Would be tough to replace.

Should have had another two on sat tbh. Different class at our Level though, think some bookies have stopped taking bets on him being leading goal scorer in l2.

Do they know who the investors really are yet? I dont mind County because they've never been a threat (in my time at least) and I doubt they will be any time soon...... but saying that I'd love nothing more than some sort of 'Sir Allen Stanford' scandal to come out of all the money being poured into the pit they call Meadow Lane.

Isn't that just a massive contradiction? You don't mind County but you want them to be bankrupted by some Allen Stanford style scandal :blink:

The Campbell rumours are back again. The Telegraph and Mirror are reporting that it is a done deal with Campbell coming as player/coach. It seems like you need him more than we do.

If Breckin marks Lee Hughes out of the game tonight then that will raise the important question of why on earth did you get rid of the one old head and organiser you did have at the back.

I guess the powers that be were confident of replacing him at the time, which clearly hasn't been the case. Congo is broadly right though, he wasn't good enough to play week-in week-out, however, hindsight being that most wonderful of things, he could've been cover.

Perhaps we should treat you how you've treat the Rugby club and just take Moloney back. Probably give you about 45 minutes notice before kick off.

I think you need him back after last night. Whatever you do, don't offer us Gunter instead because he wouldn't get near our first team. I wonder what king Billy is moaning about today. We've had the youth team slated already this week. Hopefully Doughty has that 10 year contract ready and waiting.

Not sure what the point of that reply was.

Why are you being horrible about Forest? Nobody here is horrible about County. In fact, most of us quite like to see you do well, and the rest are indifferent.

True. But its not as of I for even contemplated the notion of us being invincible, such a notion is laughable and more akin to the red side of the Trent, I was just disappointed with the way we played. We lacked any bite and looked as if we ran out of ideas... Read more….no-one was willing to take a risk and try and take a player on. Desperately need a left winger of Championship quality to rip teams apart I say. But the positives are only penalties allowed them to score, and we could have nicked a point in the end which shows the potency of our attack. Charlie was refreshingly honest in his interview as well. Cant imagine silly Billy saying things like 'desperately lucky to go in at half time on level terms' etc

Especially when most Forest fans would wish County all the best, all this money and attention and they still can't stop talking about us! ;D
