Guedioura Suspended?

Did I see right that he picked up his fifth booking? Therefor he'll miss Tuesday night will he not?

Be a shame but have no issues with Moose or even Greening having a go.

if it's only his fifth, then no. We're at the part of the season where you need 10.

Yeah, the cut off date for 5 yellow suspensions was New Years day.

Ah, cheers guys.

Honestly never knew that rule existed. Wondered why I got funny looks when I mentioned it earlier.

yh, players need 10 bookings to get a ban now, simon cox currently has 8, noone else has more than 5

The ref was a dick IMHO. He clearly though there was a distinction between a theatrical lunging tackle and an equally theatrical fall to the floor and a less obvious foul which Wednesday frequently performed on our players. The result was the same; in each case, the play was interrupted. W"e got booked; they often didn't. Dick.

I never knew the new years rule either. In a way it would be interesting to see who Davies played instead, but goo that he's available.

Wasn't aware of this rule either. Thank Hank for that!

I thought the ref was a f***ing prick and had an awful game. Good on him for the non-penalties though :D

Oliver is a top referee, and getting better. Thought he was good today too.

Thought he booked a few of ours a bit easily and allowed llera to get away with loads. I do find referees allow centre backs about 10 free passes in games though. Other than that I thought he was ok. Good to see him keep his head and not get fooled by Wednesdays embarrassing and incessant handball appeals.

That Wednesday player with the silly hat kept falling over whenever a Forest player went hear him.

Pure gamesmanship but sadly the Ref bought it. Other than that, I thought Oliver had a decent game and kept it flowing - especially in the first half. He seemed to be talking to the players a lot too, explaining his decisions, which is always good to see.

He was playing the wrong sport with a bloody scrum hat, anyone know why this is? He was shocking and should have been booked at least 3 times!
I thought the ref was ok though!

The Raddy and Henri yellow cards were stonewall but there were a lot of dodgy decisions. Antonio and the rugby player should've gone into the book. He should've given a penalty against us for the Lascelles incident too, which obviously made me very happy but didn't increase my respect for him as a ref. He's normally excellent though

Hold on, Antonio did go into the book. I meant to say that he should've gone in much, much earlier. The Collins bodycheck + another tackle if I remember correctly. Bah, who cares anyway! We won

Oliver had a good game tonight, I think all Forest's cards were correct, however I do think he allowed the Wednesday players to get away with a couple of cards. Not one of the penalty claims were valid imo, Oliver got it spot on as all the incidents were ball to hand and not deliberate. Dave Jones afterwards was a complete cock saying that handball does not have to be deliberate, it certaintly does, look at the law book Davy boy.

Thought the ref was spot on yesterday, can't really complain about the bookings and he stood his ground on the handball decisions. Always makes me laugh when managers criticise the referee yet if the boot was on the other foot i.e. Forest players appealing for handballs, Dave Jones would be backing the ref.

I have only seen the Lascelles incident on the Extended Highlights.
I think that it would have been harsh on the lad, but if it had been a SW defender in that position I think we would have been screaming for the penalty.
And this Forum would have been in meltdown over it!

Was a defo penalty, Lascelles knew it was handball straight away, he just stopped. First sign of guilt.
