Just spoken to my mate who moved from Sunderland in Feb to a more senior role at Wigan, believes Wigan want rid of him as not in Uwe's plans although not directly in the loop believes Forest have indeed made 'interest' in Holt just seems to be a case of breaking a deal

If we pay money for him I would be very upset I would take him on a free with a wage no more than 8 grand he is 33 for fecks sake much rather play Walker now finish 16th and get on an even keel financially so we are not taken advantage of again.
