I think it's fair to say I have been critical of our owners, the top brass & their methods since their naively premature, and ill thoughout through, dismissal of Warburton.

But the hardest thing to swallow is how much they have decimated our core, and still leave it hanging threadbare & unhealthy.

If you include Burke that's 62m worth of sales, if you don't it's still 49m worth of sales from our academy or our Forest connections in Pearce.

We've pretty much pissed all that away to be right back where we started when EM took over. Now signing Glenn Murrray to essentially be the next Darly Murphy.

Marinakis & Vrentroz owe the club & it's fans big time IMO. Not only have they've sold off a big part of our core to fund their mistakes, but even when we've landed decent players with that money like Silva & Ribero, they've moved them to Oly or tried to move them.

Am I the only one who think that they owe it to us to redirect something back our way, and that our club is taking a definite last place in this 2 club love triangle?

It my sound outlandish, but if players like Silva can go to Oly for "undisclosed" fees, why can't they buy some of our trash and give Hughton a big chunk of that 40-60m which they've wasted and which were generated by our academy? If Oly can't afford it, sell some players.

Am I being too outlandish? Sorry, but I really feel as if they've ripped a huge core out of us, and feel it's only decent that they find a way to put that back.

Don’t disagree with the sentiment, although there may be a bit of licence taken with the transfers.
Pretty sure Cash was 12m not 16 and Brit was before the Greeks came in.

My guess is that whatever the figures are the money is not even offsetting what we need to keep afloat.

But it would be nice to see a bit more coming our way in the “live triangle” we are part of. I mean Tiago Silva for Cafu?. I’m certain it would change were we to get promoted because our potential income would eclipse Olympiacos but Marinakis needs to get us there first and the mistakes that have been made are his so its not fair to punish the club and its supporters for that.

Well, that's part of the solution.

Sell some of those players to Oly and let their club carry the burden instead of ours.

So far it seems like they're getting the better deal out the relationship. It's not right, and I'd feel a bit for their fans, but I'm also sick of us playing the 2nd fiddle knock off.

Ultimately I don't really give a f*** any more about the top brass, relationships or their club. I want what's owed us from draining the academy dry these past few years.
