I am delighted to announce the signing of Matty Fryatt on a 3 year contract. He is a player this club has admired for many years

Bully couldn't even get Fryatt on a months loan deal. Pearce lands him on a 3 year deal. Speaks volumes.

Good signing. Proven goalscorer, good track record.

Only slight concern regarding injuries, may have got this completely wrong but isn't he a bit injury prone?

All the same though on a free, we've got ourselves a good striker and that's never a bad thing really.

Decent signing on a free. Very happy with Fryatt.
Like all our players lets get him 100% fit in preseason and watch him go.

Decent signing.

Nearly 9 years from opening bid to deal completion. Pretty good going for us...

Congrats on getting your man. A real steal and will be the real deal, a top quality championship larker.

Wish you, him and Hobbs all the very best, now that odious little toad has left you anyway, a very fine pair of lads you've taken from us. Hope he scores the goals to bring you up and gets a proper crack at the premier league, he deserves his chance.

Whilst I'm still here, no. At least, not really during his time here. The only real injury layoff he ever had for us was at the start of 2012/13 in the league cup game before the season kicked off against Rotherham. One of theirs stamped on the back of his ankle and ruptured his Achilles' tendon, it put him out for the whole season with the operation. (He did play the last 2 or 3 games but was thrown straight into the side as soon as his ankle was strong enough to run and kick a ball, but he was well off the pace after a year and no time to get back to fitness so may as well discount that)

Just cant get excited about this. Could turn out to be a good squad player.

A box to box center midfielder and a winger with blace needed now.
