Hi all,
Lifelong supporter ex Trent End Centre pen until moving to Weston-super-Mare some many years ago.
Am planning to bring Mrs P and my two boys up for a home game before the season ends and looking for some pointers as where's best to sit;-) ie family enclosure or otherwise? Lads are aged 6 and 11.
Is the last game not available for general sale as it's not on the retail site, I know it's a tad early but can't find any details?
Cheers Clive

There's a few of us in Somerset mate! Have a look for a kids for a quid match. If I remember correctly they usually stick you in the trent end

Going to a kids for a quid match will save you about a tenner, is that really an issue if you're coming all that way?

Last game of the season isn't on the retail site yet because home games go on sale 3 weeks in advance, so that won't be on sale for a couple of weeks yet.

As for where to sit, family enclosure is near to the tunnel so the kids in there can often get players autographs, also close to the pitch if that's the kind of view you like.
Personally I think the view in there is crap so if you want a good view of the match with a family friendly atmosphere I'd recommend Brian Clough upper.

Also keep in mind the last game of the season will be an early kick off, so if you're planning to drive up on the morning then you'll need to prepare yourself for a very early morning.

Cheers chaps, we've been with our eldest to the family enclosure, I must admit that the view of the game was quite poor, I'm sure the Mrs won't be allowing the boys to be out of their seats to wander anyway so I'm swaying towards the upper Clough stand :) no point travelling 7 or 8 hours round trip for a poor view imo;-)
Thanks for the input

I've sat in the Upper Clough with my 6 year old - As close to the front in H block (near the trent end). Good view, a bit of atmosphere from the trent end if they're in the mood but none of the colourful language you'll get down the other end!

If you want a good choice of seats (e.g. close to the front of H block) my advice would be to book your tickets the day the go on sale. I don't imagine any of our remaining games will sell out but you'll definitely get seats nearer the front of BC upper if you get in early.
