More chance of Bono

This guy sounds interesting. He's played a few of the 'easy' World Cup Qualifiers over Schmeichel (Armenia, Kazakhstan) so he must be rated to some degree.

Played in the Europa League 4 years ago for Esbjerg and only conceded 11 in 8 games. Brondby have been knocked out of the qualifiers in the last 3 years though.

Just did a bit of research and couldn't find anyone saying a bad thing about him.

Sign him up!

This is a choice which diverges significantly from the other keepers you've been linked with. Not a mature, proven in Championship goalkeeper who could step in for Smith at any time but would not complain if he was benched (especially if he got a long term contract), but an up-and-coming 25-year old, a starter for a couple of years.

A more dangerous choice for Smith.

Can't say I know anything about this lad, but it'd be a surprising choice given that it's seemed as though we have been gunning for a more experienced keeper over the summer.

Though I get the feeling that the key factor for Warburton is the keepers distribution and ability to command his area, rather than his age/experience.

If it's anything to go by he always ends up at a top club on Football Manager

Had a quick glance at Brondby's situation... They got knocked out of the Europa League last round by Hadjuk Split (0-0 & 0-2).

So makes sense that if they're selling players it will be now.

Furthermore, notice they signed a new 'keeper in June. (Benjamin Bellot - RB Leipzig II 1st choice last season).

So they might have already prepped for losing Ronnow. Can't say I know anything about the guy, but I admit i've always been optimistic about Scandanavian's in England. They usually fit in well.

OK lads I have spent a few hours doing some research. Don't know anything football related yet because I haven't made it past google images. Cute enough for NFFC

I dont use twitter i just see on here "nixon says this" and then it dont happen.... whats his hit rate like?
He releases info that is true, it just doesn't always happen (due to numerous things that go hand in hand with transfers) called Darikwa before it was rumoured anywhere.

If he says there is interest from us there will be a d if he says its done 90% of the time we sign them.

I can guarantee you, that if we sign Frederik Rønnow, then it will be with the purpose if having him as our main goalkeeper. He is real class, and I would love having him at Forest!

If you sign, you should spell his name correctly in the topic title: Rønnow.

And if spelling is not hard enough, try pronouncing it: according to this, it's something like "why no".

The Post's headline is very cheeky!

"Nottingham Forest linked with Brondby's 22.5m-rated goalkeeper Frederik Rønnow (...that's in krone!)"

He's a bit of a **** but he is well connected in the game.

Has to be in the gossip business because he got banned from being an agent for his role in the Rooney/Stretford case.

Only issue is that he doesn't filter so will put out delib fake info provided by his sources as well as true info. But he's billed at the 'boss of goss' so take it for what it is.

Pretty poor hit rate. He will get some right but some wrong.

He called Cummings agent talk a few hours before it was completed; but called the Darikwa transfer.

You could make a team of players he has linked us with that haven't signed, so I suppose one hits eventually.

My biggest gripe about Nixon is the way he goes about transfer rumours. Spends the whole day talking to people in vaugue statements on Twitter baiting them to keep asking him who it is.

As others have said - if he mentions something, then it's usually based in reality. Whether or not it happens comes down to all sorts of factors though, i.e Federici failing his medical. The Michael Frey saga was when he impressed me most with his knowledge. It seemed like he had a direct line to Freedman though in fairness.

I've just noticed that he's said if we pay the 2.5m this lad is ours, and that we 'have the money'. We'll see what happens next then.
