As much as i hope you are right, its early days...

I work with D***y fans, and they already rave about him. Granted, its probably just to wind me up  :

They've not had many footballers though in the last 40 years.

PVH was a football nomad when he left Forest. Played for Vitesse Arnhem,Feyenoord,Benfica,Fenebache,Nec Breda.

He won the Uefa Cup with Feyenoord and he won two Turkish league titles whilst at Fenerbache.

I think it's fair to say he went up in the footballing world once he had left us.

Both Silenzi and Rosario were just not the same players once they had left us.

They were clearly at the pinnacle of their game at forest. Silenzi, in particular, would come off the bench and charge around beautifully like an over-sexed Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen....a true marvel to watch, a joy!

Bring on Silenzi!!

Can't see Louis-Jean and Brennan listed. They were journeymen before they came to us, and after they left us, but were great attacking full backs when with us.

It's true though.

Stan was never as good after leaving us.

He had infrequent flashes of absolute genius at Liverpool, a few good performances for Villa and a bicycle kick for Bradford.

That was it.

Actually, I think he was referring to the Stan Collymore who was on LTLF, not the actual Stan Collymore.

Aaron Davies tried a similar stunt on the opening day against Reading...didn't work sadly.

Unfortunately the chorus of "shhhh" and ominous silence that followed probably alerted Hanhemann to the fact something was up.
