For my 60th birthday, the family gave me a surprise birthday party in the garden. They are not football fans so the football related presents were, by and large, culled from the Megastore, but the youngest, with not much cash to play with, bought me a couple of t-shirts from elsewhere, notable by the slightly different logos etc. For instance, there were only two waves under the tree on the crest. However, I loved and wore those shirts for many years.
I'm not fussed by all the little things which bother others about the gear, it's the thought that counts and most other fans won't notice the difference anyway.
