Video on twitter of derby fans sining about Doughty in London. Whoever wanted them to go up on here because they didn't want Lolley to go needs their f***ing head checked.

f*** derby and f*** everything they stand for.

I'll drink to that.

At least if Villa go a couple of goals up I doubt they'd bottle it like Leeds did. If their better players like Grealish, McGinn and Abraham are on form you'd think they'd have enough to get the job done.

Lolley is more likely to go if Villa stay down and have to sell Grealish anyway IMO.

Either way, f*** wanting Derby to have any success whatever the circumstances.

I'm as nervous as if we were playing! Well, perhaps not, but it's close.

Like some others, will simply have to turn off if they look likely to win. Seeing those blank faces looking happy is unbearable.

I’m not sure what either result would affect Villa’s pursuit of Lolley. If they go up they might want better, if they stay down he might cost too much. There is really no telling.

I’m not sure he would want to leave to go anywhere apart from Villa, he seems to enjoy being here and it feels like all he cares about is enjoying himself.

I'm sure you're right Rzarecteh. It's just that whole PL football without having to move house etc that worries you.

Worse case scenario, Derby go up and come in for him.

Not a chance we'd sell one of our better players to Derby, it'd destroy any feel good factor at the club over the summer and turn a lot of fans against the owner if we did. Not even Fawaz was that idiotic.

I like Joe lolley, he’s very good, but to want Derby to go up in case villa go up and try and buy him is mental:LOL:

Even if villa did want him they would have to pay a reasonable amount. Just because he supports villa doesn’t mean their manager will buy him!

What is the minimum you’d sell him for? Given that he’s still fairly young, has signed a new contract lately and has just been named our POTY, I’d start the bidding at somewhere around 12-13m, rising to 15-16.

Bidding starts at 15m. He's the best in the league in his position. Scores, creates, attacks, defends, works, injury free, committed etc.

He's a promotion player no doubt, and his fee has to reflect that.

I agree although I'd change the word "himself" for "football", he has his head screwed on doesn't seem to want to chase the £££ and only Villa (currently) could sway him to move.
