I think you should do an XG survey of all contributors and select someone based on the information points (or whatever).
I could go for infiltrating other teams' boards (depending on how easy it is to do without registering), and copying and pasting some stuff. but I might get bored and not do it every match.

Also: in the EPL, other teams' boards are liable to contain hundreds or thousands of posts.

Yeah, it will be a lengthy job to get something representative but short cuts are fine if you cba.
You can usually frequent other forums freely but occasionally you do need to join. Sometimes to get anything worthwhile you actually have to ask for their thoughts on us. Should be less of an issue in the PL though.
Ideally I'd like to find someone committed to do it week in and out.

I think my time here is limited tbh and putting in a few hours each week doesn't seem warranted given mods attitudes.
I know a few enjoy the threads so was hoping to find someone to take over.

I'm.a pain in the arse tbf but I'm deeply unimpressed with the way it was handled.
We don’t have any issues with you at all.
There was a recent argument with (a number of) other members and you did not come out of that at all well, and frankly, neither did anyone else. Circular arguments benefit nobody, sometimes it is better to be the bigger man ( (or woman) and just leave it. There are far more interesting things to talk about than someone purportedly offending you, that’s why the Forum has Moderators.
As has been posted before (and as I also posted earlier in the MGW thread) if you’ve got a problem with someone else on here, please don’t let it degenerate into a public argument. Report the post to a Moderator, and we will deal with it. That is what we are here for.
We do not have to do a huge amount of that, the forum tends to be rather well behaved usually, but when we have something reported, we will deal with it, absolutely impartially, and anything that generates such interest that several other members also report the posts in question will be if needed dealt with collectively by the entire Mod Team (effectively five people) and we will form a consensus as to what to do.
Those involved in the prior falling out were also spoken to, and reminded that such public bickering is not the way we roll here, and it doesn’t look good for anyone involved. This is not us being dictatorial, far from it, we just want the forum to be a welcoming and insightful place where members can make a post, offer an opinion, defend it, and not feel they’re being shouted down. It is unfortunate therefore that this seems to be your current feeling?
We have no desire for this forum to veer into the territory of being a ridiculous clique-led closed shop or an echo chamber that doesn’t accept any dissent from the collective hive mind; if that’s what you’re looking for, there are other forums that behave that way. We don’t.
LTLF has never been like that, and that is reflected in how we approach moderation. This forum is rightly famed (?) for its irreverent approach to Forest, and pretty much anything else. That doesn’t mean it’s anarchy, far from it, and the Moderators will step in if things go astray or - as happened in the previous incident - several other uninvolved posters report posts they believe to be out of line.
As always, if you want to discuss this further, please feel free to message a Moderator (Flagman, Erik, T. B. T. or indeed, me).

Thanks Calvin, if you do knock it on the head, fair enough, massive thanks from me for all your he effort. No idea what the issues have been about, I tend to skip posts if they’re not related to the subject of the thread I’m in.
Roles triangle though fellas, that’s what we all move through, occupying the difficult roles at different times, especially when a debate moves to an argument (becomes an argument when ‘debating’ parties feel the need to win).
Persecutor, victim, rescuer - we’ll all move through these, even within a single post at times. If you feel persecuted, you’ll occupy the victim role maybe. A perceived telling off by a mod, especially in public, is a likely sign that both parties are occupying one of the roles in some capacity.
Anyway, thanks Calvin, and also thanks for a great forum (and we are going to fall out from time to time because, well, we’re human !)

Yeah there always a great read waking up from a Sunday morning hangover. Plus your threads led me to read opposition fans forum a couple of days before a match, it does really get you up for a match reading some of them.
