Fair go fellas

I made a point of watching your game on tv - though at half time I was tempted to switch off!  :D

You must be happy with a point there.

But dear God - Derby County have been totally robbed there by that refereeing!!

That assessment seems about right. They were robbed, but We will live with that!

The ref made bad decisions both ways, not just the disallowed goal at the end. We could just as well say we were robbed by a dubious red card.

Not just Derby. If Garner's goal was offside, then Villa's equaliser shouldn't have stood either. Exact same degree of offside.

And of course now we'll be without McGugan after a red card for making contact with the ball and his own team mate - but NOT a Derby County player...

It was a disgrace all round. Neither team got what they deserved from this.

We was robbed just as much.

The Sun summed up the game quite well today.

Forest deserved the game, they were the better team and were undone by an unjust red card.

Derby scored 3 goals in a game that they didn't deserve to win, but were robbed of an undeserved victory by poor refereeing.

The sending-off sparked of a chain reaction of terrible decisions. Even throughout the first half, he was giving silly free kicks for 'offences' I couldn't even see. I was sat there with my mate watching and wondering how the hell Forest/Derby had jst been given another free kick. This happened on at least dozen occasions - what could he see that everyone else couldn't? Absolute mad man and shouldn't be refereeing such games again.

However, the current mini run of form we are on sets us up nicely for an away win at Bristol City.

with are goal being ruled out who know how the game went as they only come alive after scoreing to become level with us so if we went 2 up who knows, who bloody knows enough of this how they were robbed all in all maybe it was a fair result!!!!

plus i did notice kris commons dint wanna know in any tackles fu*king pussy footing about!!!

We were very comfortable until the sending off though...

Typically, Jewell spends a whole interview talking about the ref instead of how crap his team were.

Has he singed yet?
Yep, it was a shit game. If it wasn't Forest it would have been turned off!

We should/would have been home and dry before McGugan was wrongly sent off for a foul he didn't commit. Bad decisions cost US the game before any more poor ones were made.

Derby robbed? NO. And they were WANK too.

Aye, indeed.

We should have won the game on merit. We were the better side.

Derby should have won the game on goals scored, not deserved.

A draw is probably, and something we all would have taken before kick off!

I think McGugans red card will be rescinded, too.

hate to say it, but this suggests 2 feet studs showing and touching the derby player,
this is the only time i've seen this,
however HE TOOK THE BALL BEFORE TOUCHING ANYTHING ELSE

I thought the fat scouser came across quite well in the interview.

He did talk about the occasion "getting to" some of them, and that it was a poor performance.

If I were him I'd be furious at the referee too.

He took the ball, then Tyson, before finally coming to rest with the Derby playing having effectively walked into him...you can prove almost anything with a still photo, it doesn't show the momentum.

I was really surprised by how little football Derby played. We, on the other hand, knocked it around wonderfully at times.

Colin is getting it right, good on him...

Colin is getting it right. It's been a slow process, though, but I think we're beginning to see the full picture he has been trying to paint.

Hopefully we can kick on from here string some results together.

Birmingham has to be a game we expect to take 0 points from when trying to work out where we will finish. If we get anything, which I think we will, it will be a bonus on top of where we should end up.

I think the important thing should be ensuring that a defeat against them doesn't mess up our rhythm or confidence.

Hang on...weren't you all for getting shot and bringing in Allardyce?

I'm still for bringing in Allardyce. That doesn't mean I dislike Colin or what he's doing.

I personally see Allardyce as an excellent manager, and think it woud be foolish to not take the opportunity of getting him if we can.

That's not so much CC out, as Big Sam in, if that makes sense.

I don't want CC out, not at the minute anyway, but if Big Sam came knocking tomorrow, Colin would, for me, have to leave or work beside him.

I was explaining this to SHJ in the pub yesterday, and likened it to being happy with Garner up front, but you'd still drop him if Rooney decided he wanted to fulfil a lifelong ambition and play for Forest.

I think the ref lost it totally after wrongly sending of McGugan, I watch the game on the telly and could see McGugan sliding in and thought it looked a brilliant tackle and one you would expect from a Nottm boy in a derby, the ref was determined to send someone off....

Would have been brilliant if we scored at the death when we broke only for play to be pulled back, again an incorrect desicion. We had bid decisions go against us, the red card, goal in first half, I also thought their goal was offside.

Although credit to Villa, brilliant finish, very instictive...Bywater didn't have a chance!

Can't see our defence being as generous two home games in a row!!

My only thing about being robbed was I saw two goals from Derby and both times thought "there's nothing wrong with that".

Tell you what, two cracking saves by Camp for the penalty and the corner.

Glad I didn't turn off at half time 'cos the last 15 mins were pretty enjoyable as a neutral.

We're on the box on the weekend at St Marys.

Southampton and Forest. Should be looking at six points for us from relegation battlers. ;D

Sorry this was something I meant to add before.
I don't know whether they were just poor (Jewell did point out a lot of them didn't turn up) but Derby just pumped it long all game.

All credit to Forest who were trying to play football. Though both teams were sh1te in the first half but Derby were just route one!

I think we struggled because McLeary and Anderson were well marked, their full backs barely went forward at all. But at least we still tried to pass it through them.

I'd rather have Alan Curbishley than "Big" Sam. But neither will happen, we'll get to mid table and CC will save his skin.
