It's a difficult one because I think he's a talented lad and I think he would do alright for us, but he'd also be in Morgan's position and if he does do well, having no buy clause doesn't really benefit us in the long term. Will just be another loan player for us to fall in love with and get our hearts broken by.

I can see it working for both clubs - you don't get many at this quality who don't take up a squad place.

I take the point in that you'd be better developing your own but he covers areas we aren't well stocked in.

Loan without any options, no point in it. We are not that desperate.

We kind of are. We have 2 wingers, 1 is carrying a lot of the team and the other is injury prone.

I don't know if he's good enough at our level, but at the level below he was and for a Champion's League team he wasn't.

After seeing how much game time Santos & Tavares have got (and their old boy Origi) I'd imagine Liverpool might be tempted to look elsewhere.

And assurances? Get f**ked.
If they want assurances then why don't they just play him themselves?

Hes a decent player but scousers having an influence over team selection sticks in the throat a bit.

If they can give assurances that he gets 10 goals and 10 assists and we dont have to look at Klopps smug face or hear their fans blaring on about how their the "greatest fans in the world" then fine.

The point is rather than getting someone else's player valuable game time, we could buy someone and play them. Not desperate in terms of being able to afford to buy a player instead or even giving Dennis a go.

Can't see us buying a 2nd/3rd string winger personally especially when the keeper scenerio is priority 1 by some distance if Vlach is no good.

Good to see more people realising bringing Dennis back is a smart move given the circumstances.

Don't think it's that much of a problem myself.

Personally don't think he's good enough to play for Liverpool on the regular. He's decent, but he's not just Top 4/Champions League quality.

So IMO he's likely to depart Liverpool in the next season or two anyway, regardless of any clause in a loan. If we get him here on loan and he enjoys the experience then we could be in the driving seat 12 months down the line if we want to try and make it permanent.

Given we need someone who can play out wide and we probably don't have much money to spend then it seems like a reasonable option to pursue.

Agreed, as long as there is nothing which forces Nuno to play him. The team needs to be selected on merit, not by LiVARpool.
