FA Cup

Atleast we'll be out of the time so quickly I won't get my hopes up about a cup run

I reckon this’ll be a live game so we’d better not get embarrassed.

They’re the holders and not many other exciting ties around.

Best case scenario for me.

We get a big tie early and aren't going to win it. If we lose it isn't a demoraliser (unless we get embaressed, but don't think that's likely) and doesn't waste our time playing other Championship teams in the cup.

6-1 last time. Think we’re a bit better this time round

Posted in the other thread, Karanka's record against top 4 teams away from home is pretty good

2014/2015
Man City 0-2 Boro
Arsenal 2-0 Boro
Liverpool (p) 2-2 Boro

2015/16
Man Utd 0-0 (p) Boro

2016/17
Arsenal 0-0 Boro
Man City 1-1 Boro
Man Utd 2-1 Boro

Crap draw. Couldn't we have had Spurs at Wembley?

Will go if they make general sale. Under no circumstances will I be sitting in the home end again. Left at half time and went for a run last time.

I was at the Bridge for the last one.
It was awful - they ran rings round us.
I can't face going again.
I love the FA Cup, but am rather glad we'll probably be out in Round 3.

On the bright side it will give us some measure of where we are as a team.

Bugger that, the stewards are shithouses and the trains don't work properly after the match.

Hopefully they haven't recalled Tammy Abraham in time for this game
That about sums up the challenge. A player who can't get in their squad, and probably never will, put four past us last week.

Nah, it was 5-1 last time not 6.

I sat through as we conceded 5 and left before Darikwa's inury time consolation. No wonder I'm miserable about the prospect of playing 'em again!

I thought it was six , it as shit anyways
I would have put my house on our goal being scored by brereton too

We will put out a strong side, they will rest players. No reason why we can't have a go.

I doubt it will be our strongest side.

I fully expect it to be half first team half reserves like we usually do for cup games.

Can't see us getting past next round but hopefully we'll keep it close.
