To me it looks like he just doesn't fit our style so I would be inclined to try and recoup some of the £20 million (🤦‍♀️) we paid for him

He's good at getting in good areas and receiving the ball, it's just what he then does with it that's the problem!

If that can be worked on and improved then maybe loan him out somewhere, otherwise we need to move him on

I don’t think he can even do that.

He can’t even run around pressing, he stands off and points where he thinks other (non shit) players should be.

I stood up and shouted JUST **** OFF

Probably not appropriate for the Family Stand area.
You only got grief because you aimed that at the terminally ill little lad who was at the game on a freebie.

Taylor reported in the athletic the initial fee about half that, with various add ons structured in to take the total some distance lower than the £20m mooted figure
Yeah to be fair I thought that figure probably included add ons

I might be swimming against the tide here - but he's a good player. We need to work out how to get the best out of him.

Could we just stick him in the ex-players section to manifest an exit for him?
Thought he did well last night, ran at defenders and caused a few problems. Unlucky that his shot hit Surridge. As the commentators said, if that had gone in it would have boosted his confidence.

There was a moment that really summed him up for me, he picked the ball up in our on half, started running at a player, with his head down…Lodi made a run into space for him, Surridge made a run for him, Scarpa made a run for him…all three found space and the pass was on to all three.

Dennis never got his head up, no awareness of his team mates at all…and when he realised he wasn’t going to beat the two Utd players he’d ran into, he turned and threw his arms up because the passes were not on anymore…as if his team-mates were letting him down,

He has some skill and endeavour, but zero awareness.

While he might not have been 'good' last night, that's the best we've seen him for some time. No idea if afforded a run of games and confidence built he could be any good to us (as he was at Watford)?

Suspect we won't find out; will be interesting to see who we bomb out when the inevitable happens and Ayew signs.

Just think this guy is a poor teammate plays for himself and is a defensive liability.

Agree there maybe is a player in there somewhere but given our situation I am not sure we have the time to find out.

Cooper did praise him in the press conference maybe he is trying to build his confidence.
