Here we go. I'll post a summary at the end:

Priorities: Got to win games. Put confidence into squad.

Toughness of job re: embargo, etc: Used to it, not bothered. Current bunch showed good commitment today, doesn't need to add anybody. Fantastic squad, good depth.

Backroom Staff: Lenny Lawrence coming in, will promote from within - Sutton as GK Coach, scouts stepping up to help.

Then McGovern:

Why Freedman: He was available. It was an ideal situation.

Pearce other role: Left on results. Fawaz offered role thinking 'Clough and Taylor'. Pearce wasn't prepared to accept DoF.

Faulkner & McAnthony: Not my department. I'm in total ignorance of finance. Agree has been damaging 24 hours. Timing was extraordinary re: Faulkner.


Then Freedman again:

Immediate impact: I'm not a miracle worker.

Mcgovern: Freedman has 18 month contract. On decisions re: Faulkner input - If Fawaz makes a final decision and others find out about it afterwards that's the way it has to be.

Freedman: I love and feel comfortable at training grounds, would rather be there now.

On Bolton mistakes: I learned a lot, can build a team with no money and lower league players. Had a fantastic 4-5 years for a young coach. Feels he will only get better in the job.
