Well it seems the LTLF conspiracy theories are popping up again. Time to leave the forum for a while see you next game

We have to hope he does well.

It's just such a bizarre appointment though - what criteria did he meet to get this?

And did McGovern know this was in the works before SP was sacked? Maybe that's why he looked glum at Derby.

Not a lot we as fans can do but keep supporting the team as naff and cliche as that sounds. Might aswell get behind whatever manager's in place

When I spoke to John McGovern last Thursday he said he hoped Pearce would be given until the end of the season.
I am certain he had no idea about this.

If that's true, we may as well all give up and go home.

Apparently he's only been appointed cos of his experience managing clubs with limited budgets. Welcome to the future my friends and it ain't pretty

To be brutally honest as a Palace-fan colleague told me at the time, they were a one-man team.

Their main tactic (in the words of my mate) was "give it to Wilf!"

So change that to Michael and we're golden?

To be fair, Freedman was the reason Palace went up. Palace's form under Holloway that season was midtable form at best.

Our seasons in the 3rd division were shite. We'll be there again pretty soon.

Oh I don't know. I enjoyed a trip to Carlisle as it coincided with a visit to the Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth.

Hartlepool away was good too (we won, 0-1, didn't see Jeff Stelling though).

I am sort of thinking the unthinkable - maybe Fawaz should go. Not sure what would happen to the club, but he is soooo incompetent in his choice of managers. Only two have been reasonable - SOD, who he ditched wrongly and Pearce who maybe should have had more time, but should at least have been replaced WITH A DECENT MANAGER. Who the hell is advising him and what have they got against this club. I know that Freedman will only have a few months before the next one, but what division will we be in by then?

I just hope I am wrong and will have to eat humble pie with Freedman showing himself to be brilliant, but we all know that is not going to happen. r
Really have had enough of this farce

Bolton have been much improved since he left, tells you just how terrible he is.

We talked to Petrescu, unless Emad has a warped sense of humour. So Freedman was probably second choice?
